2 questions here:

1. Anyone know why I keep getting this backseat alert? There’s nothing ever back there but I keep getting it every time I turn on my car.
2. I have the 87kwh battery (Evolve+), aren’t I supposed to get 304 miles at full battery? I live in FL and the temperature is in the 70’s so cant be a low temp thing.

Thanks everyone!! :)

Battery range will vary. Driving an EV “is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get….”

The backseat indicator is just letting you know the state of the belts in the backseat. They're all unbuckled. The indicators turn green when they buckle. You can make this go away by hitting the scroll wheel on the left side of the steering wheel, or it will go away on its own after a few seconds.

The range estimate is based on current driving habits. As with EPA gas mileage estimates for cars, EPA range estimates for EVs are very much a YMMV thing. You're driving it a bit harder than the test sequence does. BTW, EPA range estimate for Evolve+ is 289 miles.

I have found the mileage estimate is meaningless, mine usually averages 275 miles. To test it write down your starting estimate drive 20-40 miles now write down how close estimate was once driven. Also drive a fixed amount of miles and compare Charge% vs miles this could be interesting also city vs highway.

Ya, I get the same thing. Noticed that when I used the left rear seat belt to hold at item in place, a green tick replaced the left red exclamation mark. I've come to ignore the message now.

That rear seat notice is the bane of all of our existences and hopefully in the future, they'll send an update where we can hide it. The first week I got my Premiere, it was raining non-stop and freezing. The heater/defroster/ongoing windshield wipers brought down my energy efficiency. When the weather improved, so did my mileage..

Only the Venture is rated for 304miles/charge. I’m also in Florida and based upon my driving - city/highway, it constantly reads 350-370 at 100% charge

“Constantly”? It will readjust. How long have you had the Venture+, and what is the mileage currently?
