I would expect Europe to be taking most of the production.

Thanks for sharing. I'll bug the dealer again and see if they can tell me where I am in the production queue. No luck so far with that one.Two articles on US allocation. 6000 allocated for this fiscal year (end March 2023) and 30,000 for next year.

And not an AWD in sight. 😢That's interesting..... I wonder how many people who have Ariya reservation cancelled their reservations. I just went to one Nissan Dealership in California, and they have 50 Ariya in stock as of yesterday. ..
Looks like a few in stock in Torrance, CA. Two premiers, so I'm thinking those are canceled orders...That's interesting..... That's interesting. Why not divulge who that dealer is? Lets check your credibility. That's interesting..... I wonder how many people who have Ariya reservation cancelled their reservations. I just went to one Nissan Dealership in California, and they have 50 Ariya in stock as of yesterday. ..

Which dealership has 50 in stock?
In fairness for the new forum member, perhaps the 50 count was from a dealership website -- one called Stevens Creek Nissan in Santa Clara shows that it has 50 of them, but probably not actually in stock, like physically there -- perhaps they have them ordered for dealer stock. Sometimes the websites can be misleading regarding actual availability. He just joined the forum 2 hrs ago. Possible troll... Let's see if he can produce the answer to the question.
Oh well, that gives me more time to think about all of my options (including the option to buy nothing!).Nissan held a recent meeting with dealers, many of whom are frustrated at not being able to get Ariyas. They were told because of supply chain issues, production has been delayed. Of the 6000 units initially slated for the U.S. market, only 4,500 will be produced by the end of March, the end of Nissan's fiscal year. The target for the remainder of 2023 is 30,000 units, but that is a questionable number given performance to date. That is not surprising given that new delivery reports have all but ceased on this site. March--or perhaps later--appears to be a reality for those of us with reservation numbers and still awaiting delivery.
Yeah I don't get it either. They must have their own priority order for manufacturing? So why is it that a number of dealers have some in stock, but Nissan isn't filling the reservations first? Make no sense to me.

That may be... but as an earlier poster mentioned, it seems part of the answer here is that listings on dealer websites may not actually be in stock (and may already be spoken for). My dealer told me that vehicles automatically appear on their website when they get invoiced for them. I don't know at what point in the chain that happens... but I pieced together this week that one of the Premiere Ariyas shown on my dealer's website is actually my VIN, but status on my order just says the car is "at Vehicle Processing Center," there's no shipping info, and ETA is "HOLD."So why is it that a number of dealers have some in stock, but Nissan isn't filling the reservations first?
