That may be... but as an earlier poster mentioned, it seems part of the answer here is that listings on dealer websites may not actually be in stock (and may already be spoken for). My dealer told me that vehicles automatically appear on their website when they get invoiced for them. I don't know at what point in the chain that happens... but I pieced together this week that one of the Premiere Ariyas shown on my dealer's website is actually my VIN, but status on my order just says the car is "at Vehicle Processing Center," there's no shipping info, and ETA is "HOLD."So why is it that a number of dealers have some in stock, but Nissan isn't filling the reservations first? Make no sense to me.
