Excited to say we picked up our Ariya Premiere FWD, Long Range today and happy to report a relatively smooth purchase. We received our "rebate credit" of $1240 as promised, and the MSRP with no additional add ons or fees outside of the usual tax, title and plate transfer. We did as we normally do with new vehicles add on the usual service/maintenance packages that make sense for our driving/dirt roads.
We noticed our unofficial MSRP had a couple features that were included as a part of our model that we did not remember having at the time of pre-order. Propilot2.0 was the biggest, but we got to try it out last night and had a blast with it. Other small incidentals like the all weather logo mats, first aid kit/safety kit, etc. I believe that Nissan matched the premiere's up regardless of fwd to awd/eforce. Makes sense to me that they did that and I appreciate it!
When I say this car is smooth - it is! From the textures, to the way it drives, to how it thinks is just seamlessly classy and comfortable. And speaking of comfortable - the front seats are the most comfortable car seats ever. I immediately joked that I wanted to rip my Rouge's seats out and get these, and my sales guy was like lets see if we can lol
A really awesome factoid: We were officially the first delivery for Michigan which is a cool token of awesomeness. The dealership surprised us with a few regional sales/corporate figures there and a bit of an experience which was a classy touch by Nissan.
One minor hiccup comes down to Nissans servers today- we were unable to configure the Nissan Connect services and one other item due to their servers faulting out. Fortunately we’re close to our dealer and will return Monday (for a charge up) and to do the set up and link from our reservation to purchase.
Tax credit: we are not 100% sure if we will qualify as there is a loop hole as widely reported. Yes, this is not great to hear, but nothing was guaranteed. At least I’ll qualify for other rebates for my wall box chargers install through our electrical company.
Delivery shots thanks to my sales guy:
Seeing "Stark" for the first time
Trying the propilot 2.0 out on the highway with no one around.
