Are the USB ports "hot" or active even when the power is off? The reason why I ask is because I have a Motorola Android Auto wireless module and when I power the car down, the module is still powered. Thanks!

Yeah mine stays on for hours after I get out of the car. I am forever answer calls on my phone and it being routed to car or wondering why my phone is slow - becuase it is connected to the wireless network for the ottocast device instead of my home network.
I think they are always on, I had a phone charger plugged in and was getting battery alerts
