Picked up my Ariya last Saturday! The ambient light strip (that shows ProPilot status) works fine at night (except it's a little dim in the middle of the dash), however it is barely visible at daytime, even with brightness turned to max. The accent lighting (in the doors and below the dash) is visible during daytime.

Trying to determine whether this is a defect that the dealer should look at, or just normal operation. Can anyone confirm whether they can see this light on during the day?

(a hint if you haven't seen the light even at night: it was disabled in the lighting menu at delivery)

I can attest that it's pretty dim even with the settings turned up. I actually thought mine were broken or something.

I'm finding that even at night, I'm relying more on the HUD to keep track of the mode (and I'm not finding that problematic). Most likely because straight ahead is the only place the ambient light strip isn't 😁

The setting is in the driver dashboard LED. From your steering wheel, navigate to menu, setting and there you will be able to navigate. I have changed it a couple of times.

Does anyone know if the Ariya Evolve+ has ambient light? I can't find it under Setting menu of my Evolve+, but do see the accent light option.
No it doesn't. My understanding is that it's standard on the Empower, Premiere, and Platinum because it's part of the ProPilot 2.0 package since the ambient light strip changes color based on ProPilot 2.0 status. My local dealer got an Evolve for a demo car after my Premiere came in and I hopped in it to check if it had the ambient lighting and it didn't have it.

This may be specific to US/North America Evolve+. I recall someone in Europe has an Evolve with ambient light, or maybe ProPilot 2.0 is an added option there:

My Evolve+ has the lighting in the doors and floor area shown above, but not the strip around the top of the dash and doors. Seems ... ambient to me? Just less of it? Anyway, there's a setting in the menu for changing the brightness, but it doesn't have many adjustment points.
