Are any of you still waiting on your Ariya?

Yeah, I would say so. Pretty much everybody or almost everybody who are the platinum plus is still waiting. I’ve only heard of a couple reservation holders for platinum plus that I already have cars. Very strange given that there are plenty of platinum plus cars at dealers. At least you’re on the West Coast, but me with a very low first day. Reservation number is still waiting.

Yes! I'm a reservation holder from Day 1 and remain waiting for my Copper FWD long range Ariya. My local Dealer (Vancouver, WA.) while they now have 7 or 8 Ariya's in stock has been largely useless and unable to pass on any information. After I made them aware months ago that they should be able to access some Ariya information from their Nissan system (thank you Forum!) for me they have now lately been able to tell me a few tid bits; latest is that my vehicle should be here later this month.....Holding my breath and tax filing :)

I am also waiting for a copper Premiere FWD. Although reservation number may not have much to do with it, mine is 20xxx, I waited until early January of 2022 to reserve. Recently, dealership informed me that my vehicle is in-transit and expected in late April. I would prefer earlier than later as the State of Oregon will soon be discontinuing an EV credit as of May 1. I went ahead and got taxes out of the way, so if I do get my Ariya I will be doing an amended return for the federal credit.

For me, I would've paid ~$1,600 but with the credit getting back almost $6k so I requested a delayed filing, I have my VIN (one of three Copper Premeire's at the Dealers site that all say they are in stock, but actually all in transit...), and the Dealer has said on the 24th there about....Again ,we'll see

Yes, the 24th was also the forecast I received, not sure if that meant ready at the dealership on the 24th or arrives in the US on the 24th...

I've been entertaining myself with the Ariya counts on cars.com, and the Platinum trim numbers have been slowly increasing, but the Premiere numbers seem to have stalled and even dropped a bit. Oh well, not sure how much it really reflects what is out there since some dealerships, including the one I selected, do not appear to have their inventory displayed on the cars.com site.

I wonder if Cars.com gets their information from "trolling" Dealer sites counts. If so the description/details on Cars.com would be wildly inaccurate as my dealer Alan Webb has all three Copper Premeire's shown as other models and other colors...and only when one clicks onto the VIN sheet download does the correct information (color/model) get shown accurately. I pointed this out to the Dealer and they don't care......

Yeah, "for entertainment only" I guess! šŸ˜†. I also noticed that if I add up the numbers for the different trim levels of Ariya, it doesn't total up to the same total for all of the Ariyas listed.

I'm finding Edmunds.com is a little better than Cars.com. Higher numbers for the most part.

No AWDs in Canada yet that I'm aware of. Two ships in April.....so hoping šŸ¤—. My reservation was first at the dealer in Kelowna BC during the dealer only earl window way back when. Guess I'll work on my golf game as a distraction from the waiting. Sure find the different trims US vs Canada confusing. Top here is AWD Premiere, one up from Platinum+ AWD. Good luck to everyone waiting....brings new meaning to "your ship coming in" šŸ˜‰

So tempting! Such a pretty color, too! Passion Red, Sunrise Copper, Northern Lights -- I want one of each. Now I have to go and scratch my want bumps for a while...
In related news, I've been checking the portal off an on for the last month. Yesterday my reservation finally flipped from Passion Red to Deep Ocean Blue. The little bit of false hope I was hanging on to for Red has gone. No more lying to myself. I'll be joining the masses of boring blue and grey cars on the road. I'll have to load up a playlist of boring Yacht Rock & Micheal Bolton songs to run on a loop in my boring blue car. :cautious::cautious::cautious::cautious::cautious:

What if you added flames behind the wheels?

You know, I wonder if you could call them back (the ones that called and asked if you would select another color to "speed up" your delivery), and tell them you want the Passion Red after all. Just to mess with them! šŸ˜†

They'd be like "sure, how does 2025 sound bitch!" And then you'd hear everyone in the call center laugh maniacally.

Since you live in SF, ask Tustin Nissan to deliver your White Platinum E4orce. I think it’s still available…. Why wait and wait?

My experience is that Nissan has done a horrible job training sales and service on these cars. Everything I've found to be true and helpful about my Ariya evolve+ I learned for someone who drives an EV. Usually at public chargers. Super friendly people.

Everything that turned out to be false I learned from a salesman at a Nissan dealership. One told me I could 'just order a Tesla adapter off Amazon. They're $25 and then you can charge at any Tesla supercharger.' A quick Google search told me that was not even a thing. And that was the ONE guy at the dealership who had 'been trained' on the Ariya. Another told me a public charger - all of them - would charge to 100% in 20 minutes. All public chargers are not created equal. They don't know what they're talking about. When I took my Ariya in for the steering column but recall, the service staff mocked me for having bought it in the first place. Called it a $60k piece of junk right to my face. As I'd this is the first recall in Nissan history.

They've got a long way to go in changing the attitude of their sales staff. A long way.

I've never met a Nissan Salesperson who actually knows much about the cars they're selling. The depth of their knowledge is usually no more than the 5 page sales brochures they have in the lobby and sometimes only the brochures from 2+ years ago.
