Any Moose Land News?

So far I've seen so many updates and actual deliveries for US reservation holders, but are there any other Canadians around here also waiting on their Ariya?

I've got literally 0 updates from my dealer, and it's so frustrating seeing as US buyers are at least getting notices of confirmed shipment dates.

Would be nice to hear from some Canadian buyers what the latest updates are for them

I spoke to my local dealer just before the holidays.
He said that some cars are in Vancouver and Nissan are doing winter tests with them.
I found this strange knowing that Ariya are being delivered in Scandinavia.
He also told me that delivery should take place in spring, FWD & AWD.
I generally don’t believe what dealers are saying, and looking at the poor communication in the states, I wouldn’t be surprised to see deliveries in January/February.
I ordered an AWD so I don’t expect anything before spring/summer.
I have registered a few times with Nissan Canada for Ariya news updates and I have not even received a confirmation of registration, and there have been no newsletters either. Definitely are asleep at the wheel in Canada.
Hi. I have been in regular contact with my dealer in Kelowna BC. They are told very little about timing of delivery, even for demo vehicle. I asked Nissan Canada about the various perks offered in the US for reservation holders - nothing for us in Canada. Second class treatment from Nissan Canada! I have AWD platinum plus premiere on order......zero information from Nissan. I suspect it will be the summer before any deliveries. Meanwhile Tesla is tanking, recalls on Hyundai and GM.....consumer reports not recommending mustang, so be patient ☺. If it's any consolation Audi is just as bad at communication.

Thanks for this info, but I would highly doubt that.

I'm based in Vancouver and have spoken to 2 different dealers, they've all said there are no deliveries at all in this region.
220+ ariyas to US..... likely zero to Moose Land.☹. Likely to hit Vancouver first. Good thing Canadians are patient.
I was updated that all the cars are in Vancouver, waiting to be cleared for sale this month.

Thanks for the update. Will see if any AWD PLATINUM PLUS in that batch! I am not overly hopeful.....maybe next ship. Would at least be nice to do a test drive.

It doesn’t sound like the timeline on AWD has changed at all. I believe they’ve been saying Spring 2023 for AWD.
My sales manager in Kelowna advised yesterday that he has not been advised of any deliveries in Canada yet, even demos. Patience 😉
I got a call from my dealer today. My car is in transit by rail from Vancouver. It is set to arrive here on January 30, at which point they’ll PDI it, display it in the showroom for a day, then it’ll be ready to come home!
Awesome news! I'm in Vancouver myself, but was told they're not yet clear to sell the cars according to Nissan Canada. So just waiting for corporate to give the head nod I guess!

Apparently they’ve been approved just recently. Fingers crossed!

Great!! Must have been on that last vessel to deliver at Annacis Island Vancouver!!! I think there is another inbound. Is your order for FWD? Which model and colour? Sounds like dealers may get some demos soon. Send some photos when you get it. Where are you on the prairies? Congratulations 👏

Thank you. My order is for a pearl white evolve plus FWD. I’ll be happy to post some photos once I take possession. I am in Winnipeg.
Asked my dealer about it again since it's already the end of the month.

Was told that they're still holding the cars for inspection before delivery. Not sure why it's taking this long when the car has been in Vancouver for almost 2 weeks now :(

My vehicle came in earlier this week. I’m set to pick it up tomorrow. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t counting down the hours.

That's interesting, maybe it's just my dealer that's being a pain and not releasing it for sale? I've been following up with them on a weekly basis and it's always "maybe next week, we're still inspecting".

That's huge though, congrats!

How long have they been “inspecting” it? Sounds a bit odd.
Wow 😳. Ariyas arriving in Canada....it's a miracle. Let us know when vehicles arrive. No demos at dealers yet. I'll have to be patient for AWD.
