Just curious if any other reservationists had gotten that free Meta Quest 2 headset that was offered by Nissan yet or at least received an email saying it had shipped. I submitted my info a few days after getting the email and after entering my details there was an acknowledgement message but I didn't get an email confirmation or any shipping notification since then. Anyone else feeling like the VR headset is just like the car itself - delayed and with little communication on status from Nissan lol?

I called the 800 reservationists number and the agent ask how I knew about the VR headset. I told him by email. He responded "then look for an email". He seems to know nothing about the program.

When they do show up I expect to see an announcement at the end of the pre-loaded "Ariya Experience" that the car is delayed until spring of 23! ha-ha

Contract for shipping headsets was awarded Dec 5th. Nissan said they will be shipped in Dec. But due to high Christmas traffic some might be Jan.

I just received my shipping notification via email. It included a FedEx tracking number and shows a Wednesday 12/14 delivery.

I called the reservation line today and asked about the VR headset shipping schedule. I was told not to expect mine for several weeks because I ordered an AWD Ariya and those headsets would be shipped last.
Then this afternoon I received a shipping notification via FED EX Air!
I'm not sure that anyone at Nissan really knows what is going on.
