Everyone on this forum already has their reservation orders or have cancelled their orders. If you're looking to flip your order for a profit, good luck!

I had two reservations that were canceled, but kept the VR headsets to sell on eBay. I kinda feel dirty about it, but guess things don’t always go as planned.
Does this mean you got TWO headsets?

I think Nissan really screwed this up with the free VR headsets. Did they not know people will cancel their reservation orders but was sent a free VR headset ahead of time? A huge costly marketing plunder.

Nissan probably got a decent enough deal for the headsets, or wouldn't have done it. Although those toys retail for about $400, I'm sure they got a quantity discount!

I ordered the fwd evolve trim I never receive the email about vr headsets
In a different thread on this forum it was mentioned that the headsets were offered to those who accepted the "binding agreement" prior to the signing of the IRA, and to those who pre-ordered the AWD trim. But I think there was probably a limited number of headsets to begin with, so it's possible, even if someone accepted the binding agreement, that they may have been excluded simply due to ... supply chain problems!

Not just AWD. Many FWD (myself included) got them too, just later than AWD reservationists did. I think you had to accept the binding agreement either way though.

Yes, I also reserved FWD (accepted the agreement, too). Maybe the agreement was the deciding factor? Even with that, there was a time limit involved -- they wanted your mailing address by a specific date.

I did the binding agreement and later responded to the VR headset e-mail. I reserved the Evolved FWD and my reservation number is 32XXX. Next got the e-mails that the headset would be coming in early January. The VR demo was so so. Got a little motion sickness as the Ariya made some turns that you didn't control. Will be resetting the headset soon. Just wanted some more quality time with my Ariya before I say goodbye. :)

Hmmmm.. I didn't accept the binding agreement (but do have an platinum+ AWD reservation) I was actually out sick that weekend (thanks Nissan for sending an email three days before the deadline) Many other EV makers were weeks ahead.

I did receive the VR headset though.
