Before I purchase any car, I always look for accessories and bring them to dealership before first ride 😉 Since my family and friends in Japan and mentioned me Ariya's Accessories which I haven't see them in US yet, asked them order for me !! Pedals' cover from Amazon JP and sunshade specifically designed for Ariya from Nissan JP website. Is anyone also looking for accessories like me ?? I love to decorate my car 🚗

thank you for starting a new thread on Ariya Accessories. Does Nissan or any aftermarket sellers have black Ariya emblems in Japan? I looked on US EBay and no one has it.

You're welcome! Are you talking about new emblems for steering wheel or outside ? I just checked japan market but looks like so many old emblems. I'll keep my eyes on the market 👀
This is the link for pedal covers and can deliver to US, you'll have to make an account of Amazon JP just let you know !

Since the FWD isn’t technically rated to tow, many are interested in a trailer hitch so we can adapt our bike racks. Would be very helpful if you find out if Japan is offering either an OEM or aftermarket hitch? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I just checked Aria owner's manual looks like Aria is not for towing I guess. As you can see second picture, there is a place for tow but saying that that is only used for when they deliver by ship so not for us. Also in my life in Japan over 25years since birth lol I've never seen things like US style rear towing thing maybe because we are not that outdoorsy, people usually put bikes on the car by using brackets. sorry that I couldn't really help however if I see something like that I will post here !
Every time I see a picture of the blue interior I‘m just not sure if I can do it.

I think the same of the "charcoal" interior! 😆 I resolve to withhold judgment until I can see it in person again!

My car will be black. Blue interior, copper accents, seems like a lot going on. My Tesla had white interior and I loved it. Probably got more comments on that than anything. Just wish with the black I could’ve chosen black or light grey interior. Platinum trim has no interior options unfortunately.

Nissan website does not show Yakima hitch as an accessory but their brochure shows Class I hitch receiver.

Yes it did seem like the interior/exterior combinations were rather limited, and even now on their website the "build and price" only has the blue-grey leather for the Platinum. I also prefer a lighter interior. My concern with charcoal is that it will be almost black -- too dark for me. Sometimes it's just difficult to tell from photos and videos, the lighting can make a difference.

I can help you. You’re more than welcome to use my Ariya for fit test once I get my Ariya. I’m in Tustin.

For the mats, I would recommend copper color around the borders to give it an accent look?

My initial reservation selection was for a Platinum + Passion red tri-coat. At the time I made my reservation there was discussion within the portal that many reservation holders were requesting Nissan to consider mixing up the exterior paint and interior color options between the trim levels. So as I made my reservation I had some hope that I might at some point prior to delivery be able to choose a different interior color. So my Red Platinum+ with light blue leather reservation remained unchanged in the portal until I attended the ride and drive event last July. There I was fortunate to speak with a Nissan representative who worked closely with the interior designer for the Ariya. When I told her my story of not being a fan of light blue leather she concurred and shared she wasn’t either. However as far as she knew light blue leather on the Platinum + would be the only option during the reservation launch process. During that discussion we also speculated whether blue leather interior might have been a contributing factor for Nissan to turn off the Passion Red paint option on the Platinum trim. So after the ride and drive event I considered my options. Finally decided that since we typically drive our vehicles for at least 10 years, I just couldn’t bring myself to get into light blue interior on a daily basis. So rather than cancel my Ariya reservation all together, I converted it to a Deep Ocean Blue Evolve + with light grey interior. A huge factor in my decision making process was that I had already planned to keep my low mileage ICE GMC 4x4 PU, so I really didn’t need an AWD Ariya. Since the federal tax credit may once again be in peril, I’m glad I decided save $10K with the Evolve + that allowed me to choose a light gray interior that I really like.

Ok, thanks, I appreciate your research.

you definitely did the right thing. The fact that it came with blue interior is an easy decision to walk away regardless what the exterior paint color is. Having blue interior equates to being moody while sitting inside and driving. What was Nissan thinking? How many blue interiors are there in the automotive world? None besides Ariya? Does Nissan want us to puke inside our Ariya?

My first choice while at the 2021 LA Auto Show was Deep Ocean Blue Evolve + with light gray interior. I liked it enough to place my order right there on the spot. However, after seeing my neighbor’s brand new 2022 White Model Y with white interior in Feb 2022, I decided to change my order to White Pearl exterior with light gray interior. The White/Black exterior and light gray interior looks so smoking HOT.

Since this is my first rodeo as an EV buyer, I did not want to splurge knowing there will be many more EVs down the road to choose from. $50K was my budget, with or without the $7500 tax savings.

Overall, i strongly believe the Nissan Ariya is a great value for the technology we get for $50K. The fact that Nissan has 12 years of electrification was an easy decision to place my purchase.
