Can someone tell me if these features (supposed to be available in premium+ only) are still available or no longer available?
1. Motion activated tailgate
2. Active noise control

1. My Evolve+ does not have. Platinum does not have it either.
2. Never heard of this feature

My old Honda Pilot Touring had active noise control. Basically, the car had a microphone and would play frequencies through the car speakers to counter road noise (destructive interference). It worked well enough at dampening road noise, but some people can feel the pressure from the speakers and find it unpleasant. I'm one of those people and ended up turning it off. I've not heard of an Ariya trim with the feature though...

Yeah, Ariya definitely does not need the active noise control. The windows are dual glass panes and the interior is basically sound proof. The cabin is so whisper quiet

BTW, I just submitted my JD Power quality survey ... 5 stars all around, of course!

Kick to open is supposed to be in the Platinum.

Don't think noise control is needed, I couldn't hear someone taking when they were standing outside the driver side window.
Thanks. But my point here is that those missing features are built in the current MSRP. Nissan could have lower the price when they offered those missing features for reservation. Thought?

The spec page says "active sound control" which may be referring to the artificial motor noise, since this is listed for e4orce only. The e4orce reviews showed it has the motor sound. It doesn't say "noise control."

It does say this feature on the website:
It’s called active sound control

It’s not what you said:

i went by this MSRP spec sheet. Nothing mentioned about those 2 features you raised.

Are you buying the Platinum 4Eorce?

I based it on what I found on other car brand sites. However, the Nissan site you show indicates it's to control noise, but few people have the e4force models, so no one really knows about the feature. Makes me wonder if they made an error in the description.

"active sound control creates powerful engine sounds "

"providing amplified engine sounds through the audio system"
I found out this video. It was released 3 years ago about the noise reduction tech In the Ariya:
so it sounds like it should apply to all variants?

This passive noise filtering material, as I understand is in all Ariya.

I did find a spare parts called Controller Active Noise, but virtually no mention of it in the model specifications.

I used the motion activated tailgate on my Platinum+ half a dozen times today. It’s nice.
