2023 Nissan Ariya Sees Massive Price Cut Of Almost $9,000 In China

The Dongfeng Nissan joint venture says the massive discounts are available for a limited-time only, from February 17 to March 31, 2023.

Based on the trend, its only logical all the EV manufacturers competing in this segment will have a price cut to stay competitive.

I guess it depends if the Ariya is flying off the lots in North America...definitely not happening if dealers are adding markups

If Europe does the same, North America may follow! Tesla discounts last month started in Asia too!🤔

Local dealership states they have 25+ Ariyas in stock or in transit to them.

This seems very market specific as far as cuts go. Nissan marketshare in China is much less compared to US/EU. Think it very much depends on how many of the recent non-reservation units sell over the next few months.
