Thought someone might find this interesting. After first charge, the Venture+ (specced for 304 miles) reports over 360 miles.

According to Nissan of Tustin, my Ariya was supposedly #10 to be delivered to a U.S. customer, and their first Venture+ (with their first 3 cars going to Premiere buyers)... will be interesting to see whether this settles out at 304 or stays in this range.

EV’s love mid 70 degree weather. When temp drops so does range. Just hope the Ariya is more accurate in predicting it than my model 3 was.
My last car was a '19 Leaf, and was pretty much spot on with Nissan's promised range, driving across Orange County (with typically 70-85 degree temperatures). I'm guessing the Ariya can't possibly stay 20% above official numbers for long, but we'll see!

We have a 2020 leaf as well. I feel like it’s predicted range is pretty accurate where the Tesla took a big hit in range when it got cold.

Oh, it’s you! I posted yesterday that the Boulder Gray Venture + was delivered yesterday at around 2pm. So I guess it was you that bought it. Congrats!

I do like the gray color hubcaps on the non Premiere trim.

BTW, if you’re #10, this means:
Last weekend, Tustin sold 3 Ariyas. Irvine sold 4 Ariyas. If you’re #10 as of yesterday, that means Irvine probably received and sold 2 yesterday.

when did you order yours and what was your reservation #?

Thanks! Prior to the pre-release event, I was expecting the gray color to be more metallic and gunmetal-like. Then they added gunmetal as a distinct colorway and offered no opportunity to switch. I’m still getting used to the flat tone and considering a wrap.

My number was 11349, and I ordered fairly early on the first day reservations opened. Nissan of Tustin said that a third dealership (the name of which I can’t recall) had sold a couple.

Wrap? it looks sharp the way it is. I’m considering putting 19” gloss black wheels on my Pearl White Evolve + to match the gloss black wheel well moulding trims.

Your range is going to depend on a lot of factors, including average speed and driving style. So if it's been driven slowly and conservatively in a city/rural area, you'll probably see a very high range estimate. Get out on the highway, though, and the estimate will quickly shrink.

Congrats on bringing home the new car!! And the first Venture+ !! We too have a Venture+ pre-ordered. I’ve been dying to know, the center console is not electric on the Venture +, does it move manually or is it stationary and can’t be moved?

This morning, it showed 348 miles/100% on the NissanConnect app, 349 miles/100% on the dashboard. So.... recalibrating?

The two samples you’ve shared here are merely a calculation by your Ariya’s computer generated guess-o-meter. You must consider that since your car is so new -your computer has only seen two brief snapshots of the type of driving and variable speeds that it will see In it’s lifetime. ie your first charge after 16 total miles of driving -and then your second charge once the odometer had reached 48 miles. Even with the gradual reduction in projected range at 348 miles after your second charge session, I suspect your driving habits this far have allowed your Ariya to get some benefit of regen at low speeds maybe combined with your average speed less than 50 mph? That said don’t be concerned once you finally get the opportunity to take an extended trip on the freeway at 70mph (or faster) …….and after that next charge session your guess-o-meter is predicting <300 miles of range.

Thank you! I haven’t yet discovered a way to move it if it can be moved - feels stationary. Not ruling out the possibility, and will recheck this morning when I drive it. That console struck me as a collection of fairly weird design decisions in the Venture+, with almost no storage capacity and a useless phone storage slot. I would be happy to discover some hidden value in it!

I would be very concerned if the car was predicting less than 300 miles of range given that the Venture+ is specced at 304. (Raw range was my sole reason for choosing this trim level.) We spent some quality time driving around on highways and the numbers are still well above the spec - for now. They are sliding gently downwards though, as expected.

if i were you, I'd reset those expectations. with battery degradation, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go lower within a few years.

I have a 2029 Leaf S+ and I consistently get 25% below the combined posted range of 226 when driving at highway speed 60-70mph, whether or not I'm running the heater or AC.

The Engage + that I test drove this afternoon has an electric center console. However, the glove box for the “laptop” is manual ejection button. I prefer manual vs a silly electronic storage door opener on my Evolve+.
