I like how he stressed the importance of Nissan going with a much larger wheelbase EV. But with that praise and the rest mentioned throughout the video, @Philariyan do you think the Ariya EV "will be a VERY credible competitor to the Tesla Model Y"

Just asking because I'm not THAT convinced yet although my hopes are high as a Nissan brand loyalist.

It is a credible competitor for me. I don’t know about in the marketplace. But I think it will be considered by a lot of lev shoppers.

I like it’s style and interior more. I believe the e4orce drive system may offer better drive ability. It will be quick and powerful. The fit and finish will be higher quality. It will be quieter. It is more affordable. I am hoping that it will approach Tesla’s efficiency. I don’t like Elon Musk.

I am also getting interested in the upcoming Hyundai Ionic 5. There are going to be a lot of attractive options next year.

I agree with the post above. Also keep in mind that at least for now the Ariya will qualify for the tax credit. I also am very impressed with the interior and features of the Ariya.
