Arrived, maybe?

I check the reservation portal and it showed that my car had arrived and that I should contact the dealer to complete the buying process. Great! Problem though, I haven't heard from my dealer yet. To those who have received their cars, did you get this type of notice or did your dealer contact you directly. My dealer, initially, told me by the end of the month and that is the timeline that I'm using. However, as stated, the reservation portal has stated that my car has arrived. So, I'm confused?

I was contacted by my dealer directly. I had been in frequent contact with him for many months, so he knew I was anxious to hear when the Ariya arrived.

Did it actually say your specific reserved car has arrived at the dealer? My portal says generic message of Nissan aria has arrived and that dealer might contact etc. I think that means it Nis San Aria model has arrived in USA but not my reserved car.

Oooooh that looks very promising! I still have the generic message that deliveries have started. Thanks for posting the screenshot -- I'll be prepared with my reservation number and all.
Thanks for the heads up, CRW. My portal shows the same but I've not yet been pinged by my dealer. [fingers crossed].

My portal also looks the same as it has for awhile. So like you I’m guessing the Ariya intended for your reservation was actually delivered to your dealer. Good luck! Please let us know what you find out after you check in with your dealer tomorrow.
I logged in and received the same message. I am going to reach out to my dealer today. Today is my birthday and I am heading out of town for the weekend. Would be great to take delivery before I leave.

I have the same message in my reservation portal. Originally my dealer told me it would arrive on the 5th, but later told me it actually just left the port on the 5th and would arrive in 2 weeks. I'm guessing the messaging from Nissan corporate is when the car arrives in the port. Hopefully I'm wrong and it arrives early!

Exactly the same thing that happened with my dealer, and when I log into the portal I also get the same message. My dealership called early this week thinking it would arrive sometime this week, but when I stopped in to check on it they checked again and said it appears to have been completed in port and is being shipped this week. They think it will probably arrive next week or the week after.

Okay. Then, this fits with the original timeline that my dealer told me. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I got a call and email today from the dealership that there will be an Evolve plus available. I told them to let me know when the Venture+ I reserved becomes available.
I got a call from my dealer that my Ariya will be available for pick up on January 25th, 2023. My reservation was placed on 11/17/21 and the ID is 14289 and the model is Venture+. The drivetrain is Front Wheel Drive and has the long range battery. The reservation website indicates this. My dealer claims that they have the VIN number also.

The dealer is as follows:
Nissan of Norwich
691 W Thames St
Norwich, Connecticut 06360


This is exciting news for me because this is my first EV. I currently own a 2020 Nissan Rogue which I plan to keep so comparisons should be interesting.

Good luck to all Ariya reservationists and I plan to post a photo when I get mine.

My dealer actually gave me the VIN for the car. I now know how much my tag and insurance will be.
