Back seat belts

Has anyone done a driving with an adult in the back seat? Drove to Cedar Point yesterday and my back seat passenger kept getting locked in by the belt and had to unhook it, let it retract, and then put it back on. It happened quite a few times both going to and from.

Are they big enough that it was pulling the belt out to almost its max? If not, that sounds like a defective belt and you should take it in for service / replacement.

I mean…he’s a 6’2” guy with a broader frame. I was too busy enjoying driving to pay atrntion honestly so I’ll have to ask him.
I've driven quite a bit with an adult in the back seat, and never had any issues with the seatbelts. Not anyone with a large build, though.
I've had child and adult backseat passengers without complaints about the belts locking. They've all been slim builds though.
I drove with 2 teenagers that outgrown me in all directions. I often had to tell them to buckle up :) as soon as they did, 2 green checked marks, no complaints from them as they're quite lanky :)
I can confirm that I have heard my back seat passengers complain of their seatbelt locking up.
I don't have rear passengers often so I would say it is a high rate based on limited occupancy.
I have a 2023 Rogue that a child was in the back seat buckled up. Somehow had her arm intertwined and she released the buckle because the seatbelt was locked. Even with the car in park, turned off, on flat ground, and lifting her off the seat to release tension, the seatbelt would not unlock. Ended up cutting the belt. Nissan doesn't want to cover at this point.
