Canadian Ariya Orders

Just had a very courteous and helpful call from Nissan Canada head office. eForce production for Canada expected in May and June, delivery thereafter. If you placed your order through a dealer, as opposed to online, you will now start receiving update information from Nissan Canada in addition to the dealer. Also be aware Canadian models do not have propilot 2.0 installed, just Navi-map....no autonomous driving capability. May explain the substantial price differential with US models. Thank you Nissan Canada for reaching out to loyal order holders. I was also told you cannot change these early orders made through dealers.

Did you get any info for people that did their deposit online? I did mine online Feb/22. I have only got a generic email with no details.
Sorry no. You could try contacting consumer affairs at Nissan Canada. I kinda got the impression that all orders were now being treated equally regardless of whether through dealers or online. Given that the Canadian upper end vehicles are slightly different than US models it would seem logical that they would manufacturer them in a batch. Let's hope regardless of order pathway that we all get delivery in June or July. Given that this one plant serves Japan, Europe, USA Canada etc I guess every market must wait it's turn. 😛

Montreal
Dealer called mid-April to tell me car was in Vancouver.
Was told by them today that the car arrived in Montreal and should be delivered to them by end of the week.
Today was a good day.
-Car is local
-Got my Wallbox installed
-Gouv of Quebec put the car on their list for the EV rebate program. ($7k prov. + $5k fed.)

Congrats! Would love to know your impressions after pick up. Quebec and BC have best incentives! I'm in BC. Also if yours is the premiere would also like to hear what you think of the blue leather interior 😀. Was yours a dealer order or online....just curious how they are handling these orders. My wall charger also patiently waiting.

It’s an Evolve AWD, so small battery. Could be why they already produced it.
Charcoal interior, so I don’t have to debate.
Ordered online the morning it opened.

I am in BC too.
No words from my dealer yet..I ordered Engage back in May 2022..
Hopefully I will hear something from my dealer soon.
Right. I'm at Kelowna Nissan. They have only delivered 1 Ariya so far, FWD as far as I know. Seems like Canada is getting short shrift in production from Japan. Perhaps our unique production requirements (km speedos, French here and there, no propilot 2, premiere badging etc) and low volumes put us down the totem pole so to speak😉. Some Canadian customers now reporting AWD arrivals, so there is hope. Several vessels scheduled to arrive in Vancouver over next two months. Hang in there.
