Anyone else have the car not connect to the app at random. It works fine for some time then sometimes it doesn't. It has that slash signal through the car in the upper right hand corner. Was working fine earlier

Have you tried powering down your cellphone? Who knows…?

And.... not working again smh

Does yours stop connecting when you turn off the car?
NissanConnect app works well for me. It uses Sirius XM - If indoor you may want to check Sirius XM signal quality and any possible interference, or just go outdoor to see if it improves.

Thanks.

Car is outdoor so not sure what's going on.

You never had any problems with the app?
I recently pressed to slide down to update it gives me random days and times. Sometimes current, or few days ago...it currently says "updated Nov 4th at 2:59pm" lol. I got the car last week. But ya it's not working right now. I'm under a tree at the moment maybe that interferes with XM not sure.

NissanConnect app always works for me. Car is always outdoor, and my iPhone is either inside a house, a building, or outdoor. Could it be the phone data plan? My phone has AT&T unlimited data plan, so it always has WiFi or cellular internet connection.
Mine is normally in a single-story wood-frame garage, or outside at work. I've never had any issues with the app. FWIW, cell and XM both work in the garage and my phone is a Pixel 5 running the latest Android, on AT&T.
Probably just me then, my car or something

It happens to me all the time. The car needs to communicate with the Nissan servers for the app to retrieve information. If there is no signal, then the car does not communicate.

Not sure which service provider and what 3g/4g/5g bands Ariya uses. The signal keeps dropping all the time.

Not just you, bruh. It happens to me often. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind the lack of connection as well. It does work most of time but a lot of times it's very sluggish.

Definitely not unique to you, there are many connection issues, and the app is very broken. Even the new MyNissan app is very broken. This is a VERY crucial part of an EV car experience, and the app experience really takes away from owning this car.

Happens to me sometimes usually when very cloudy. Not sure if that is the reason, although ATT service was getting bad in my place, again not sure if that has anything to do with it though.
Took my Ariya in to get this looked at. Thankfully, the regional Nissan tech was at the dealership that day. They said they've seen this a bit and they'll be pushing a software update to fix it.
Mine is sluggish to populate but always gets information from my car. My guess is if you don't have good AT&T coverage is where your car is at, that's the problem.
Does anyone have a “home remedy” to reconnect the vehicle to Nissan’s servers? Mine disconnected a couple days ago even though I’ve been out on the road many times.

I didn't find one. It's most likely not an issue connecting to the servers, it's your car connecting to the internet that's the problem. You can hold the power button till the system reboots but, if you went on several trips you have already done that. Calling AT&T car connectivity and getting your car reactivated is really the only thing you can do if rebooting doesn't work. Also, make sure you have that IMEI number from your car's settings.

There's an update coming out soon that's resolving some of the telematics issues. Hopefully it will be more stable after that.

Speaking of AT&T, I received a free 90 days promo for hotspot. Why would I need one since NissanConnect works independently. I tried watching the video but it would not play.
