Changes to reservations locked about a month ago. You can still use your reservationist private offer on any Ariya, but you’ll be negotiating with the dealer directly from this point on what that looks like for you.
I contacted my dealer late September of 2022 right after the official Ariya press release and pricing for all the 2023 Ariya models had finally been revealed. My current reservation is for an Evolve + FWD but had inquired last September if it would be possible to switch to an Evolve + AWD e4orce. So my dealer contacted Nissan of North America last September and their response was as follows: Nissan insisted that reservations could not be converted to any model that was not originally offered during the original reservation process as launched in November 2021. I could certainly cancel my reservation at any time but I would have to order the Evolve + e4orce model thereafter with my dealer. However that new order wouldn’t take place until all US Ariya reservations had been fulfilled. (So I took that to mean no orders until late 2023 or possibly 2024.) Also If I elect to cancel my reservation I would not only lose my &1240.00 reservation credit I would also be kissing any potential to file for a federal tax credit goodbye.
