I was hoping our Family could start posting
1) Charge times
2) pump info such as 50kW/350kW
3) pump output 39kW
4) starting percentage/ending percentage
I will start
A) 74%-98%, 50 min. at a 50kW pump,while pump was running it showed 39kw output.
Also at 94% it said miles expected 236miles( I felt this was low) please show comparisons since we are all new. Hank / EVadopter/artreis/Tonejr83/give me some feedback if better suggestions I would really like this to stay on topic, maybe some owners have charted 2-3 months info. I am in California weather should not effect info here. (just rain lately) I will post my next few charges. I know freezing cold and stuff effects it I am looking for NORMAL weather conditions Please. This will show Maximum Efficiency under normal weather to compare. Just trying to see if 280-300 miles is TRUE

Coincidentally, I took this photo this past Sunday to show to my sister since she is considering getting her Ariya and selling her Infiniti Q50.

I started charging from 25% SoC to 95% at 350kw charger. It took me 44 mins.

Last time I did it, it was from 10% to 95% in 47 mins

Turn on the battery heater before heading to the charger. It should help.
Temp is 50degrees plus (California)when I charge also car has been driven couple miles prior to charging.
Other results:
Feb 25th Went to Rancho Cordova,Ca. (1) 350kW broken (1) 350kW in use.
So I charged on a 50kW, I went from 44% to 94% in 50 min. Pump output started at 45kW then 20 min later dropped to 34kW
March 1st El Dorado Hills Ca. (Raleys) 50kW (All 4 Pumps)
74% to 94% in 40min estimate distance showed 248 miles

  • Dayton -> DC
    • EA at Cambridge, OH. Only got a little charge, about 10 minutes at 60 kW. Unit worked fine. WalMart with nothing else there.
    • EA at Belle Vernon, PA. Charged to 90%, at 70 kW. At a Sheetz, which is really a nice location for this.
    • EVGo at Hagerstown, MD. Charged to 90%, at 70 kW (100kW station named Anka). Grocery store with lots of fast food nearby.
  • DC -> Dayton
    • EVGo at Hagerstown, MD. Used Anka again, got the same rate, and charged to 90%.
    • EA at Belle Vernon, PA. Charged to 98% thinking maybe I could make it all the way home. Got 90 kW (initially) from the same charger. It was warmer out. Dropped down to 21 at about 91% charge and stayed there all the way to 98%. Belle Vernon to my house is 243 miles, mostly at 70-75 mph.
    • EVGo at Reynoldsburg, OH. Chickened out with 28% left and added exactly 20% (so that I could see how close it would have been). Got 70kW from a 100kW charger.
    • Pulled into the driveway with 22% left. I would have made it without the additional 20%, but it would have been really close.
I used the battery heater for both legs (and forgot to turn it off after Belle Vernon and Reynoldsburg). I just turned it on and left it on right from the start for both. The only thing I did differently for the climate control was to turn on Driver Only.

I was doing about 123kw of charging when my battery was really low at 10%. It kept over 100 kw for as long as 40%+ SoC. It had a really nice flat curve for quite some time,

Just charged at EA last night.

From 7% to 61%

Took 26 min. Stayed between 113kw-98.

Didn't go below 100kw until about 60% so I just unplugged then but i was surprised how well the charge curve was. There was a kia ev6 next to me, I'm sure his charged faster but I bet we still have a more consistent curve.

Just wanted to share how much I love this regen. I'm new to EVs but I heard of regen, but I didn't think it would make much of a difference. I'm thinking maybe add a mile or 2 per charge. Boy was I wrong.

I went from Calabasas to Los Angeles (about 25 miles) after I charged in Calabasas. I left at 99% and 180 miles.

Got back to l.a and have 170 miles left. I think it said I regened 16 miles or something. Granted I was in stop and go traffic and city driving. So there are some benefits to being in traffic 😀.

But it was crazy how I would see 174 miles remaining then all of a sudden see 175 and it bounce back and forth.

I will say the percentage still seems to go down, not sure of the accuracy on that but it went from 99% to 87%. Not sure what counts the most miles or percentage but either way it was cool to see. I love driving EV'S!

Today was a very GOOD DAY. I started charging at 15% SoC. EVGO consistently kept the charge at 104-105 kW for 20.5 mins or 58% SoC. It incrementally reduce below 100 kW thereafter.

From 59% to70% SoC, it went for another 7 mins between 90-100 kW.

From 71% to 81% SoC, it went for another 6 mins between 80-89 kW

In total, it took me from 15% SoC to 95% SoC in 47.5 mins. I dispensed 67.39 kWh. Assuming $.45/kW during “peak charging time”, that equates to $30.32. Worth it? Yes, because it’s free!

I charged today in El Dorado Hills,Ca. Pump 50kW. output 44kW
Topped off started 73% to 95% it took 30 min. same timeframe whole duration
Had a couple minutes to kill so stayed up to 99% would not show 100% or maybe after 5 minutes I gave up? So once I was sitting at 99% it showed estimated RANGE 240 miles.

I've been driving my Shamu in Eco mode & e-Step since previous charging session to experiment consumption in city traffic, and kept track of miles driven which has been consistently over 30 miles for every 10% battery drop. Today after the last charging session, it shows estimation of 324 miles over 96% battery capacity. Before purchasing, I was hoping the city driving range would be 300+ miles in SoCal weather condition, which is now confirmed.

Is your eStep on and in Standard driving mode? Since you live near Sacramento, it’s quite cold up there…

I have been using ECO mode and when hills or traffic lights switch to B mode, I will use Estep if I travel but otherwise not concerned I did not like Estep because I felt cars behind me maybe felt I was going slower than normal. I bought more solar panels and will charge at home ,will continue in ECO mode use B mode when needed . Bottom line saving lots on gas and will use EVGO occasionly if shopping but not to go sit for 45-60 min. Going uphill Sport Mode works great.

Today I drove my Shamu along the SoCal triangle (San Diego - Riverside - Orange County) for some errands and also to experiment Ariya highway consumption (Approx. 90% freeway speed ~70 +/- 10 mph, and 10% in city driving).

I started out with battery level at 94% (after charging to 96% and driving home the night before). After 165.8 miles, the battery level dropped to 35% with remaining estimate of 113 miles, averaging 27.18 miles over 10% battery level (165.8 miles/61%).
Then I recharged the battery up to 91% with estimate of 303 miles, and completed the remaining mostly freeway driving of 51.6 miles with remaining battery level at 72%, averaging 27.16 miles over 10% battery level (51.6 miles/19%).

In summary, my experiments on my Ariya give ranges of 270+ miles at ~70mph freeway speed and 330+ miles in city, under SoCal temperature range 50-70 F, and e-Step active without sudden acceleration and slowdown. Also, the Ariya still has 20+ miles more hidden below zero.
