Hello All -- I've read some good posts with recommendations for dealer selection, and I thought I'd start one where we can specify the dealer contact information, etc. After contacting a number of dealers in my local area (Portland metro area, Oregon), and receiving a truly mixed bag of responses about whether reservation holders would be charged MSRP, MSRP plus $10000 (wow), and whether surprise accessories would be added without the customer's control (more wow), I wanted to share my experience with other forum members. I changed my dealer selection to Chuck Colvin Ford Nissan located in McMinnville, Oregon. While McMinnville is a little outside of the metro area, I really appreciated their commitment to no markups for reservation holders, and no surprise accessories nonsense! I've added their contact info below for other Portland area forum members if interested.
