Some of you have now had an Ariya for two months, what’s the verdict? Do you still love it?

Yes
Nope.
I may move on.
What do you dislike and what were you driving previously?
Only complaint we have is ride is a little harsh compared to our ioniq5. We have Evolve and tires are at 39PSI. Wondering if reducing them to 36PSI etc. will help mitigate that.

lower psi will result in lower efficiency right?

Totally happy, minor issues 1) no plug in for phone up top. Charger does not work if you have Otto case on phone.2) door bins dont hold bottles well 3) push button dual heater /ac controls take awhile adjusting vs turning knob(quick and easy)

He said he traded in his RAV4 Hybrid but we don’t know what year his old RAV4 Hybrid was.

Surprise to hear he’s “moving on” after spending much of his time talking about his copper hubcaps.

I don't think he was serious the way I took it.

Why do you need to plug it in? Don't iPhones and androids wireless connect? Hands-off phoning definitely doesn't need cable connection.

Android doesn't but I still don't plug mine in. I have a thing to get android auto wireless by hooking it up to the USB port. Used it in my last car, works flawlessly.

In all fairness, I've found that my iPhone doesn't stay in the charging pad's "sweet spot" and stops charging. I've resorted to wired charging as a workaround.

I never liked wireless charging. Goes super slow and makes the phone super hot. I only use it as a last resort.

Plug in to CHARGE. Cannot use wireless due to Otter Box to protect phone from damage. I also wish interior was a darker color dirt will show up sooner ,will take extra effort to keep clean. Still best car I ever owned (66) my 2018 Tacoma comes in 2nd. My wife says the super acceleration compared to her Prius we sold cannot be matched.

For normal phone calls or streaming music, connecting with Bluetooth works fine. Apple Carplay works wirelessly, but Android Auto is currently only supported by plugging in. (Supposedly they're working on that, but who knows when...)

I've not had any issues with wireless charging or the phone staying on the charge pad, but that would be specific to the phone and case. The charge pad itself is hard plastic with some texture on it so it's not hard to see how a phone could slip around some if it's in a case that's also hard plastic. My phone is a Pixel 5 with a fairly minimal, but grippy, case.

I think that depends on your iphone size case? Otter cases are really beefy if that's what you have.

That's a great idea. Can you send us the brand from Amazon link that you use? Thx

Exactly two months in today, still totally love it and have had no issues yet. Similar to the others' experience - some quirks like my phone slides around on the charging pad so it doesn't stay charged. Honestly the biggest problem has been finding open charging spots on weekends or at busy locations. It's a war out there!
