Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to install a Dash cam hard wired and trying to figure out where the fuse box is on the Ariya Premier. (USA model)

I'm either terribly blind or I can't seem to see where in the manual it explains this.

Can anybody help?

Page 8-4 "Do-it-yourself" in Motor Compartment Check Locations in the manual. 1. Fuse/fuseable link holders.
Under the hood.

Think this is what you want?

Thanks. Huh... That's a weird place... I guess I'm gonna have to hire an installer then cause I have no clue how I can get the wires from there. 😅

No No. Please wire your dam cam behind the ceiling trim and down to your OBDII connection. It's the best and safe way to get power. There is an OBDII cable adapter you can buy on Amazon. It's about $10 vs $50 Garmin brand.

I will get my Garmin Dash Cam 2 soon and will do it myself with the installation.

I am interested in doing something like this also -- there was another dash cam related thread and someone was asking where exactly the OBD port was located in the Ariya. Apparently not in the same place where it was on the Leaf, or it was different somehow...

There's a slight problem on that for me unfortunately since....

I bought these two items for the purpose of parking surveillance mode but seems to be wired and no options to plug to the obd port. 😅

Out of curiousity. Does the Garmen Dash cam have a parking surveillance mode?

On Amazon is for 2 pack although I needed just one cable set. See sku #. The nice thing about this cable set is that it has a switch for easy on and off.

Yes, it has 24hr surveillance mode. That’s the benefit of connecting to the OBDII port. Full power 24/7. I will work on installing it next month when I’m done with my business taxes (due March 15th).

Here is the install/wiring diagram for the Nissan Dash Cam which my hubby installed. Hope this helps with your non-Nissan WebCam.
Thank you.. This is very useful. I think Nissan should have prewired all this stuff instead of having anyone run wires and screw things up.

I plan to install the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 and will use the wiring diagram in the pdf to connect to my OBDII port instead.
