When I went to the drive event back in July I asked about this feature and was told it is not available in the US for legal reasons.
That simply isn't true. I take that back. I started doing some digging and I found some references that point to this being a Japan only feature.
(No mention or button for the feature)
This article also mentions that's it's Japan only
Another new intelligent driving feature in the Ariya is ProPILOT Remote Park (Japan market only). This technology expands on ProPILOT Park, offered in the Nissan LEAF, by adding the ability to park the vehicle from the outside with the use of a dedicated Intelligent Key.
Which if true this is pretty disappointing as there are dozens of cars on the market that have this feature. My wife's Hyundai has this feature and it's very handy when people park way too close to you.

Then how the Tesla cars allow to have summon feature in here? I don’t believe it’s a legal reason. Thought?
The legal reason probably being they don't want someone to sue them. In Japan I would expect users to use it as directed. It only takes some kid to get ahold of the key fob and play with the car.
