Here is a copy of my most recent complaint about the damn e-Step I sent to my Personal Assistant:
"The e-Step is a terrible mistake, No one that frequents the AriyaForum likes it and those who had
Leafs, like myself, can't get use to using it. I've had numerous close fender benders in packing lots and when simply
maneuvering on driveways that are on hills.
It appears the European Ariyas have e-Pedal. The hardware and software are already in the firmware. There just needs to be a setting to select e-Pedal or e-Step.
If, nothing else, set the creep speed to 1 mi/hr instead of 4 or 5 mi/hr. "
Here's the fundamental problem with the Aryia creep speed. It's about 5mi/hr.. That's 7 feet / second which it difficult to control when moving around a tight parking lot.
My Personal Assistant:
"As it relates to the E-step option it is different from E-pedal as you stated and I have no information that the feature will be changed at this point. I apologize that I don't have more information at this time. Thanks for your valuable feedback. It has been documented. " Whew!!! Thank heavens it been documented.
