I just got a call from my assigned Ariya personal assistant. Went through how we were liking the car. I told him unfortunately my car didn't come with floor mats and our dealership had no eta on when they would get some. He said no problem, they would send our dealership (Tustin Nissan) a free set for me =)

Hopefully all the other new owners who want floor mats that are not in stock at dealerships can now get complementary ones sent!

Same story here, dealer had no idea when they were going to be available. I wish they would be complementary

You can reach out to your ARIYA Personal Assistant, and let them know that your dealership has no idea about availability. Then hopefully they will do what mine did and ship a complementary set to your dealership.

Here's the rep that called me:

I wonder if the Platinum E-Force will have any of the lighted accessories included in the MSRP or as a factory add on. Seen examples of both so far on window stickers elsewhere in the Ariya forums. Guess we will find out in due time.🤔

Here’s the floor mats from Weathertech that I bought at Costco back in Oct thinking my Ariya will be arriving in mid-late Nov. At the time, it was $10 off for $19.99. The Weathertech feels thicker and heavier than the current Michelin sold at Costco

Costco has a rubber cargo mat available for sale on their website. I just placed the order for gray cargo mat (black is sold out). https://www.costco.com/weathertech-universal-avm-cargo-mat.product.100481766.html

But carpeted floor mats are INCLUDED in all new cars, aren't they? Therefore, they SHOULD BE FREE if they didn't arrive WITH the car. I also seek winter floor mats for every car I buy, so if Nissan doesn't offer them, I may have to go to a 3rd party (WeatherTech?) when the time comes.

Floor mats did not come with my Premiere I purchased 6 days ago. So, I purchased the "Ariya" floor mats and they are quite nice. We have always purchased Weathertech for our cars. But these Nissan ones are so nice the way they mould with the shape of the floor - front and back. Once Weathertech are available, I'm not sure we'll need the upgrade.

Thank you for the heads up on this. Got the same email from Romulus and reached out, I had a bunch of other questions. Still waiting to hear back but I just got an email with this link to the Ariya accessories Nissan's come up with... not yet available to buy but hopefully that's not all of it.

The issue with the link is that many items are not available for sale. All weather mats can be purchased, but not carpeted.

Yes, I checked with a Nissan online chat rep for Ariya marketing, and she confirmed that carpet mats were NOT included with the Ariya. (Carpeted FLOORS, but no carpet MATS.) Seems sad that Nissan is nickel and diming its customers. I always buy winter car mats, and will buy the Ariya's IF AVAILABLE, but don't like that I also have to purchase fair weather carpet mats. Oh, well!

I have never purchased a new car where the manufacturer didn’t list floor mats as an accessory line item. However in the old days, but a totally different market, dealers often used them as a bargaining chip - “we’ll even throw in the floor mats for free “ as their marketing tool.

Yes, in the time of haggling you would normally get them included.

But the Ariya has a flat floor, so it would be better to get Aruya's front floor mats which cover the entire front floor. The front mats from Weathertech assume a transmission tunnel, requiring separate mats. So, I'm waiting for Ayiya-designed mats.

The personal assistant told me yesterday that the dealer will call when the floor mats get to them and the dealer called later in the day to confirm that they are at no charge.
The only issue I have is with EVGo, just not enough stations l, especially the fast ones.

so your Costco still has Weathertech floor mats for sale? Our Costco stores are now Michelin brand.

I have the same Weathertech floor mats on my Volvo XC90. Love them!
Are you going to buy the cargo mat from Costco.com? I ordered it last week. Its gray color. It should match the trunk carpet color. It’s a great deal for $35 with tax. Let us know with photo if you ordered the Weathertech cargo mat.
