Finally got my Premiere model in the lovely copper color.
I love it. This is my first EV car
The ride is awesome, quiet and zippy. Love the HUD; Havent tried the Pro Pilot features yet.

looks good, both car and owner. Did you go with a plug in wall box, or did you have it hardwired?

Congrats on the Ariya. What other EVs were you considering before going with it?

When I looked at the wall box web site, I didn’t see an option for connect type. Did it come with both?
No, I think it only comes with the plugin type
This is the one I bought

She's a beauty!
I regret getting an Evolve+. I wanted the Premiere instead but did not want to jinx my reservation and screw everything up.

Overall, I'm loving it. Lots of Tesla crowd checking me out.

I considered the Model Y; But went with Ariya instead because of:
1. Higher ride
2. More distinguished interior and exterior
3. More buttons other than the screen controls
4. Heads up display
5. At the time I booked the Nissan it was cheaper than the Tesla Y; But now may be on par (with no tax rebate)

Sweet looking Ariya @skethineni72! Congratulations and welcome to the forum! Was it easy to get your wall charger set up at home?

I asked my dealer for any referrals for electric contractors and he had none.
So I went with Angies List to put a request out for quotes for this job and got 1 response.
I hired this company in NJ and they did an excellent job.
I still need to get the township approval and then I can file for the rebate from PSEG for the electric charger installation
But all in all, a smooth experience

Today is the very FIRST time I saw an Ariya (after all these months)!! It was parked in the parking lot of the US Post Office. It's Northern Lights with copper hubcaps. I thought maybe he purchased it from Tustin Nissan. So, I drove around the parking lot where his Ariya was parked to see if it had Nissan of Tustin chrome license bracket on his rear plate. NOPE!

So, now the only EV I have not seen while living in Orange County (the heart of EVs) is the new Fisker Ocean. Guess what? Fisker HQ is in Irvine (about 15 minutes away from me). Strange that I have yet to see one..... (not even one prototype)

Oh, the other day, I saw an AMG EQE at my gym parking lot. Wow!!

@Hank If you see any Fisker Ocean on display at their HQ, please let me know. I'm interested in seeing one in person. They should be delivering the limited Ocean One trim soon in Q1.

Nobody has seen a fisker on the road lol. I have one ordered but not sure when or if it's coming so I got the Ariya.

My first choice was the Mercedes EQE SUV but no hyperscreen is coming in it so I wasn't happy. That's the main thing I wanted that sets it apart from others so I went with the Ariya. Plus it's like 20k cheaper.

For you, I’ll drive my Ariya to Fisker HQ sometime next week. Park my SUV there and hopefully get free charging while I’m there. 🙃. I’ll go inside their showroom and take some photos. Done and done.

I think getting the Ariya was a good conservative choice over other brands just because of Nissan 12 years of electrification experience.

I did not want to spend hard core $$ on an EV as my first rodeo. $50K for the Evolve+ was perfect on my budget.

So, it was either a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, or a 2023 Ariya Evolve+ BEV.

Holy cow! Just saw another NL this afternoon. Back to back! I don’t think it was from the same owner as yesterday’s NL since it’s on the other side of Irvine.

I went through months without seeing an Ariya, and now back to back,,,,

I went to Karma (Fisker) HQ this afternoon. The front lobby door was locked. Security guard came out and walked me to the lobby. There was no showroom in their lobby. The security guard went into the office to get someone from inside the office to come out and speak with me.

The entire building is highly secretive. So, no Fisker Ocean on display.
