I always thought the Black Diamond with blue/gray interior was best combo follow by Boulder Gray with blue/gray interior for Platinum trim. Since you received the call yesterday, have you physically seen it in person? It’s quite nice, imo.

I got the call yesterday that my Ariya has arrived. Like many of you, I reserved it back in Nov. of 2021, and I chose the black version with gray interior...the options were limited back then and I assumed (falsely) more choices would be forthcoming. Flash forward to the interior only being available in the blue/gray and I just don't like it. A blueish interior is one of the last colors I would choose and I can't see paying 62k+ for a vehicle that doesn't really allow me to customize the colors a bit more.
I'd much rather forego some features and get the Evolve+ Eforce AWD in Northern Lights (so pretty) with light gray interior (lovely). What are my chances of my dealership getting one? Or locating one elsewhere? From other posts I've seen, that color is in high demand. I'm away on vacation this week but will call the dealership and go in next week to look at it, but I'm almost positive I can't live with that blue interior.
I realize waiting until you get the call that your car has arrived is not the time to want to change it (oops) but I've read other posts saying if you have to cancel your reservation to make the change and I didn't want to give that up.
I assume the dealership would have no problem selling my Platinum+ as outside of reservations, I don't know if they're getting any others.
Out of interest.....is your dealer in Canada? Canada bflsg on your post. I have a deep blue premiere AWD ordered through earliest dealer window....in interior BC. I too have concerns about the grey blue interior and faux suede dash.... definitely would not have been my first choice. Will have to see it in person. I would hope a reputable dealer would move your new order to the front of the queue, if they can. Would be the height of irony if the interior on the top end vehicle was not too taste 😩.Hey folks,

I'm on vacation in Sooke right now so the site auto updated me to Canadian flag, lol. Ya, I can almost maybe look past the grey blue seats, but the faux suede rest of it....just nope.Out of interest.....is your dealer in Canada? Canada bflsg on your post. It's at the Burien, WA dealership. Just spoke to the guy there a couple hours ago and he said it would arrive in 2 days so I have plans to go in on Monday to see it in person. I have a strong feeling I will decline it.Which dealer? Because I’d be all over the gray/blue AWD platinum+. My dealer said they had a black one for me, in 60 days or so.
Not yet but I'm planning to early next week. I'm really hoping I like it in person because who knows how much longer I'll have to wait for my other choice.I always thought the Black Diamond with blue/gray interior was best combo follow by Boulder Gray with blue/gray interior for Platinum trim. I’ll post some pics of the Black Diamond with the blue/gray interior Platinum since Nissan Tustin has 2 units in stock. Not yet but I'm planning to early next week. I'm really hoping I like it in person because who knows how much longer I'll have to wait for my other choice.
Here are two photos of the Black Diamond with blue gray interior Platinum E4orce. It's difficult to see under sun.I’ll post some pics of the Black Diamond with the blue/gray interior Platinum since Nissan Tustin has 2 units in stock.
Thanks for posting the pics -- it does look nice. Every time I see the blue grey interior it looks different from what I remember. I guess should really see it in person. Here are two photos of the Black Diamond with blue gray interior Platinum E4orce. It's difficult to see under sun.
IMHO. It has really nice contrast. It does not look gawdy.
Thanks, I appreciate it! I will say these photos make it look a little better. Too bad it's not a gray/silver instead. I look forward to seeing it in person but I'm still leaning toward declining it. My husband doesn't mind the blue but this will be my car so I need a color I can live with. Here are two photos of the Black Diamond with blue gray interior Platinum E4orce. Yes. Thanks Hank for the photos. I think I am fine with the leather....but that faux blue suede dashboard really doesn't work for me. I see peanut and jam handmarks from the grandkids all over it😉. Will have to see what my wife and dog say when it arrives....they each have a vote. I think the interior of a car should be 100 percent functional and durable.....I'm a ten year plus own and hold guy. Thanks, I appreciate it! I will say these photos make it look a little better. I declined the Platinum+ (in black) so it's at Burien Nissan if you're interested.Which dealer? Because I’d be all over the gray/blue AWD platinum+. My dealer said they had a black one for me, in 60 days or so.
Hi. What were your primary reasons to decline?I declined the Platinum+ (in black) so it's at Burien Nissan if you're interested.
That blue interior. I just can't look at that every day. Otherwise I loved it. Beautiful car. I will say the sales guy didn't know much about the car. We couldn't get the pro park to back in perpendicularly. They said they weren't quite done with the inspection so maybe not all the cameras were activated yet? The foot activated lift gate also wasn't working which makes me think it was a camera issue. I knew I wasn't going to take it so I wasn't concerned about getting those issues solved.Hi. I think it's a smart choice to step down from a Platinum E4orce to an Evolve+ E4orce. Save yourself the money for tax and registration.I declined the Platinum+ (in black) so it's at Burien Nissan if you're interested.

I currently have Evolve+ trim. Sometimes I wish it was an Evolve E4orce after having test driven the Platinum E4orce. Exhilarating!
I think I understand completely. I may be in the same situation regarding that blue interior 😩. Question is: is there another model of Ariya without that blue, that is AWD, big battery and must haves for us: electric tailgate, full electric auto adjust front seats, and power steering wheel. I'll have to look closely, but I'm not sure there is. Models here in Canada slightly different than USA. Then....how long for delivery. Nissan is wearing me down! Perhaps there will be an Infinity clone in short orderThat blue interior. I just can't look at that every day. Otherwise I loved it. Beautiful car. It's nice and quiet and a very smooth drive.
In Canada the Platinum+ AWD does not have the leather, so it is opposite the US, where Platinum has the leather.I think I understand completely. For now, the blue leather interior is only available in the Platinum+ model so you won't have to worry about it on the other AWD trims. I believe the foot activated lift gate is also only available on the Platinum+ and Premiere trims as is power telescoping for the steering wheel.I think I understand completely. Yep, I'm looking forward to saving some money there for sure. Only problem is the manager said they won't honor the $1260 under MSRP and they can't even guarantee MSRP if they bring in the Evolve+ Eforce in NL and light gray interior which they say is a June timeframe. Which puts me back on the open market I guess. So I'll look around and possibly go with another brand cause no way I'm willing to pay over MSRP.
