Has the Ariya been kept current?

"The Nissan Ariya concept car was presented on 24 October 2019 at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. " It is supposed to deliver in Fall 2022 in the US, so 3 years later. It was originally supposed to have been delivered in the 2nd half of 2021 in the US. So my serious question is, has the Ariya been kept current in terms of tech in that time that it's been waiting to launch? Tech be it EV tech, driver assist tech, or even infotainment tech has evolved the last 3 years. Has Ariya made some updates so we're not buying 2019 tech in a car delivered in late 2022?

Welcome to the forum. It sure seems to be, at least for a Nissan.
Would you wait for the next model year if the first one doesn't have enough up to date features?
From the specs, it offers the latest of what they offer on their other cars in terms of driver assists, and the latest connected car app. Android auto (but not Apple) is via physical connection (USB, not bluetooth), which is a bit of an oddity. Otherwise everything appears to be up to date relative to what they offer on other cars.
I wonder if there are any posts/YouTube with the infortainment screen?

What they have in the Leaf is not the latest and greatest for sure and I do hope they have something much better.
The 2022 NX has the latest infortainment (I just got the PHV version) and it is days and night compared to the Leaf navigation I have..
There are pictures of the screens on Nissan's website for the Ariya. The displays look nice, but none show the nav system, so, hard to say. No doubt more will come out in time. If this is something super important for you, it may be best to wait until you can see one in person or there are reviews available.

Bunch of Japanese videos on YT (search via B6 Limited) that showcase the system. Even though it looks much better than Leaf's I still think it's 90s design and cluttered compared to others like Tesla, Nio etc. Maps are too busy with too many details imho.

Welcome to the forum @DCEV! It's hard to say at this point since journalists and reviewers haven't gotten their hands on it yet but I hope that's what Nissan spent their time with the delay doing.
