Heated Wheel

Hi, We haven’t managed to get the auto heat function on our steering wheel to work. The dealer says the aircon has to be set to 25 degrees Celsius or above for it to work (which seems odd). The manual just says it should keep the wheel between certain temperatures when it’s on auto - no mention of aircon temp.

If anyone would share their experience, I’d appreciate it

Mine's been set at 71 (21.6) and has been working fine. 25 would be crazy! I just use "auto" for everything. (The big auto in the center-top of the climate control page does that.)

Many thanks for the reply. Yes. 25 is roasting - not practical at all.

I tried adjusting the sensitivity setting to max (5/5) so perhaps that will make a difference…

so heated wheel can't be run independently of hvac? what if I only want warm hands and nothing else?

Yes - no warm hands for you (or me!). Well, not without turning it on manually…
