Hi, I have been interested in the Ariya since it was first announced. I currently have a Mustang Mach E but I'm hoping the Ariya's ride comfort is much better and I love the interior styling. I think the Ariya will be a more refined and comfortable vehicle to own so I'm really looking forward to reviews of it.

I reserved an Evolve+ in Boulder gray.

I really love the blue but I was uncertain about having only the lighter interior as an option.
I have been flip-flopping between the Black and the Blue because of the light color interior. I was an early adopter of the Chevy Bolt and pre-ordered sight unseen with the light interior. I ended up replacing the whole dash with a darker color because the glare was terrible.

Just this morning I watched this video (
) which shows the glare in the Blue with light interior at the LA Auto Show. I realize lighting is different inside vs outside, but I live in California so bright sun is typical here. This video sealed the deal for me. So I've changed my reservation to the Black.

It's a shame the initial options are so limited. I also have to deal with lots of bright sun where I am and I didn't even think of the possibility of glare. I was thinking more around staining the seats with my jeans and personally preferring the look of the black in general.

I could probably wait until more options become available as someone on another thread hinted may be the case, but I really do like the Ariya so I guess I'll work within the limited options just to get one sooner, otherwise we'd end up with twin blue cars :).

I reserved the premiere in the green color. If more options become available before actual ordering (especially AWD in a lower trim, I'll probably switch.) Right now, the color got me. I love the changeability of it. I hope I still like it in person. I ordered a Mach E but didn't like the ride once it arrived. Still trying to go electric.

I also loved the green but I'm lazy (lol) and was worried about keeping it clean since it looks almost black depending on the angle/light. It's a stunning color though! I want to get rid of my Mach E for the same reason...the ride. I guess when I test drove my order I didn't notice it as much because I didn't hit up some of the roads I have since driven on. I got caught up in the hype and since the Ariya was announced after I had put in my order and this was my first electric vehicle I went with it hoping that some aftermarket options would become available to fix the ride, but so far no luck. I think the Ariya is more of what I'm wanting in an electric car but I do have to thank the Mach E for making me love electric vehicles.

Im still torn between the Evolve+ and the premier because I wouldn't mind pro-pilot assist 2.0 but I think can definitely live with the evolve+.

Welcome to the forum. Nice spec. Did you consider any other EVs before going with the Ariya?

What didn't you like about the Mach-E's ride @LolaD?

I'm not LolaD but I can comment on why I don't like the Mach E's ride. They made the suspension way too stiff so that it bounces over every road imperfection. It's not like it rattles your teeth going over the bumps...perhaps the tires help absorb enough to where you just bounce over everything. The car rocks back and forward as part of the bounciness characteristic like a galloping mustang (pun intended). Don't put your head back against the headrest unless you are on smooth roads because you may feel like a bobblehead.

Hello! I ordered the Premiere for the hands-free driving. A big part of the appeal for me: A decent sized vehicle that's NOT AWD. It will be my daily driver, and also pulled on a dolly behind my RV. There are very few EVs that are 4-down or dolly towable. The Chevy Bolt and Leaf are it at present.

I am still a bit torn on changing to the Premiere or Platinum myself because that hands free driving seems so convenient. I usually like to spec my cars out with all the bells and whistles so I really gave a hard look at the platinum because while I don't need AWD either I liked the faster 0-60 times and knowing it's loaded with everything. However I'm not sure how I feel about the blue gray interior. I'm glad we can still change our reservations for a bit and I hope some reviews come out before we have to put our orders in.

About the Mach E's ride, it was very bouncy. I live in a city with very bad roads which I don't really notice in my current car (GLB), but I noticed ALL of the imperfections driving the MachE. I really wanted to love it. I love all the gadgets available, but I didn't, so I'm waiting it out.

I would really like the platinum. I would love the stereo upgrade and any other extras that come with it. But the thought of $60,000 makes me itch! 😆 In the scheme of things, it sounds arbitrary, I guess...

Doesn't sound arbitrary at all! I also didn't like the thought of paying 60k...and as much as I hate to say it, for a Nissan.

The three things giving me pause about the platinum are the blue gray interior as the only current option (I really do prefer the charcoal look), the cost of awd (I don't need it but would love to have it and that 0-60 time is nice) and the fact that it would be produced last in line behind the fwd models. I waited over a year to get my Mach E only to be disappointed with the ride and now I'm impatient for the car that I probably should have held out for.

There are folks who managed to trade in their non-gt mach es for gts since they were produced later and didn't really lose any money on the deal so maybe that would be an option if the used car market stays crazy. Get my hands on the earliest available and then as more configurations become available, trade it in for that.

I would have liked the stereo upgrade, but AWD for me is a non-starter, so ... Premiere it is. Have to agree with Cnote about the blue gray interior too. As for the price ... The price of all of them gives me pause, but that's just because I'm cheap... My current car is a Honda Pilot. Everything is a compromise.

hi, anyone expect an EV incentive for Ariya? I reserved for Adventurer, but if there is no incentive i am probably out. And not counting the dealer probably want a piece of the pie............at this point i don't have a good feeling that i will be driving Ariya at the end of this year.

Nissan is still eligible for the full incentive.
