HomeLink on the Ariya?

Unless I am missing it, it does not appear that Ariya will include HomeLink. It’s pretty much a necessity these days for anyone with a garage door who doesn’t want an ugly remote on their visor. Does anyone know if it is integrated in the dash or something? This is a real bummer, especially for the price…

I answered my own question and found it in the specs for the Evolve trim. All good 🙂👍
hello can you tell me where it is? I am expecting mine in May
It's on the ceiling, right by the cabin lights. There's a video showing it and how to set it up here:

I’ve gone to great lengths to program my Ariya with my garage door opener. I have spent hours on the phone with both the manufacturer of the opener, Genie as well as with Homelink. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, have you had any success?

While I have yet to take delivery of my Ariya, we've experienced some issues with homelink and our Genie openers. One of our openers was rather vintage (like DIP switch vintage), and has since been upgraded. Some of the things that helped before we upgraded were to make sure the remotes had fresh batteries when attempting to train the homelink, and also if the remote has one of those little switches (where you can pick some frequency setting or something like that), switching that helped. The homelink for our Leafs worked great. We had issues with the homelink on an ID.4. After we did a long overdue update to the openers it has been working fine. You might be able to just upgrade the transmitter part and not the whole shebang.
