Just tap on the screen. It will go away.

Yes, it gets obnoxious when there's a major storm with constant warnings every few seconds. It can be turned off in the settings - they come from Sirius Weather. The easiest way to get to the right spot is to tap Details on one of the warnings and then go into Settings from there. I left the warnings on, but turned off the audio announcement. Sorry - I don't remember the exact settings option... Just poked around until I found it after getting very annoyed at them.

My god! yes this! I don't think it was even every 5 seconds felt like every 2. That's ridiculous, I pulled over immediately and found the setting to turn all that off.

Why does it have to remind me every 2 seconds, even if I have dementia I don't need to be reminded that often sheesh.

Most annoying thing so far is the weather alerts.

My storm warning came on then I tapped on Details then Settings like you said, I did not see where audio could be turned off?

I just went out to the car to see if I could find it again. Here's how I got to it:
1. Tap on the Sirius Weather app. It will bring up a page where you can set your favorite location.
2. From that page, tap on the gear icon on the upper right of the screen to go into Settings.
3. The option to turn off the speaking of weather alerts is on the first page of options. This is also where you can go in order to turn off specific alerts that you don't care about.
