How do you turn off Sirius Severe Weather Alerts?

Anyone keep getting the Sirius XM severe weather alerts? They’re very intrusive and I can’t find a way to turn it off in the menus. Does anyone know how?
Thanks!

Tap on the Sirius weather app. You'll land on a page with the setting for your preferred location. Tap on the Settings icon on the upper right of the screen (gear icon). That will take you into settings for the app. You can turn off audio announcement of the alert from here, and also go into each of the categories of alert types and turn off the ones you don't care about.

Thanks a lot! I did not realize it was a separate app for the alerts and kept looking under the sirius xm settings. That’s a heck of a lot of annoying alerts that I had to turn off. I would love my next car to have no sirius at all…
I don't want to use Sirius, but they keep telling me to activate the trial thingy.. Is there a way to ignore it?
I haven't actively using the main control screen nor driving. My car is still in the garage :)

I have no idea. My dealer automatically started the trial when I purchased the car
I feel like Sirius as a bloatware on PC back then.. If they think giving us free trial to get us hooked then to subscribe later, that's not my case..
I got email like this:
Aircraft Font Aerospace manufacturer Vehicle Advertising
See less See more
Since we have sirius trial, I might as well use it for the time being. I don't like all the channels they have and see that they can program Pandora on sirus.
Does anyone know how to do that? I saw the app Pandora Now, but I can't seem to get pass that. I wonder if I have to do something with Sirius app rather than the Car/sirius interface.
Thanks.
