When configuring both the Ioniq 5 and Ariya, there are some variations in what adding an addition motor and bigger battery can do.
Which one is more important to you?

the ioniq 5 has a lot of cool things, especially the 800v system. however i dont know whether it will have any hands free driving, but thats not a deal breaker. safety of course is the topmost priority.
We’ll see what the official range turns out to be for both cars. The reported 300 miles in the Ariya is an advantage over the other car I’ve been watching, the VW ID.4. The charging system in the Ioniq is ahead of the rest of its competition.
I'm looking for more of a true Compact E SUV. The ID.4 is now available and currently the closest EV to a Compact SUV. However not happy about the different sized Tires (can't rotate), no Heat Pump, no plug and go charge at Electrify America stations (VW owns, SMH). Waiting to see what the actual Ariya looks like in person. If I'm not excited, guess I'll have to stack my Pennies together and get the Full Size Rivian E SUV.
