Hi everybody,
I have a 63 advantage on order, which has just been put back to April 2023. I ordered at the then cost of £41500 in UK.
I decided to pay for the upgrade to charge speed (7kW to 22kW).
However, the dealer thinks I may have to cancel the order and place a new order at the new price of about £46000, plus £900 for the extra charging speed upgrade!
Anybody any experience of this, is it a feature that can be turned on at a cost after delivery?

It’s not going to be possible as the car needs extra hardware to charge at 22kw. Are you sure you need it as most homes in uk don’t have 3 phase which is needed for 22kw ? Is it worth losing your place in the queue and the price increase? The cars are now taking a lot longer so I think I might be worth staying with your current order maybe?

Hi Nicke,
You are quite right. However, things are, or were, a bit more complicated for me. we have moved to a modern block of 25 flats with an underground car park. after 2 years research we were awarded the Govt. 'Apartment Infrastructure Grant'. We had installers all set up to do their thing (Easee Charge with load balancing etc.). Once this was planned I went ahead and ordered our Ariya, and of course would not need the 22kW upgrade as we would be wall box charging. Then the Freeholder suddenly removed permission to install. Yes, they do have that power and I suspect it was because they could not make any monetary charges to us. This problem will be the same for nearly all 5 million people who live in flats!
Our local Tesco has just installed 22kW chargers which are free to use. I was hoping to charge there until the ZipCharge GO is released.
Nissan have just confirmed that it cannot be upgraded after delivery so I'm stuck with the 7kW charging for the next ten years.
Thanks for reply anyway.
