Nissan Ariya? Top trim levels exceed $55k.
I meant since Nissan Aria wont be eligible for any credit anyways (imported), when Model Y and Mach E and others raise their prices, Nissan will have some breathing room to compete with them.

Very interesting, I guess they are making these base models to inventory lots for sale, because I don't see that these can be ordered online.
Also they seem to be only $1-2k less than the long range, but rated 61 miles short range. So they exist for people who can't wait.
No way these are already sold. If they were "presold", there would have been a temporary white paper plate installed on the rear license bracket awaiting for pickup.
The way things stands TODAY, there's no need to rush out to buy a MY or M3. The deadline has been removed. Like I said previously, anyone looking to buy a MY should wait till end of March at quarter end. More deals on the horizon.
Elon is not very happy because GM and Ford are getting the same treatment....

Keep in mind in less than 30 days in all likelihood the max tax credit values will be reduced by 50% to that of $3750 due to the battery chemistry criteria per IRA guidelines.
For the gullibles and the clueless, they will be upset to find out after the fact that it's no longer $7500. This is why I believe there will be excess inventory as buyers walk away in March from their orders. 🤫
