Just checking the Mor-EV program eligible vehicles site, Aria is not listed. MA changed the rebate and now EVs under $55k are eligible for a $3500 rebate after Nov, 2022.

The faq states below. Wonder what the next steps are, as the rebate app has to be submitted within 90 days of purchase. Has anyone submitted already and received anything from MOR-EV. I did send them an email and awaiting response.

How do I get a vehicle added to the eligible vehicles list?
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) must reach out to MOR-EV for eligibility consideration.

For OEMs and dealerships:

To have a vehicle added to the MOR-EV eligible vehicle list it must:

  • Meet the sales price cap requirements of the Program
  • Have an all-electric range of 25 miles or greater
  • Be California approved/certified (Please see MOR-EV Implementation Manual Section A. Vehicle Eligibility and Rebate Amounts for more information on California certification)
Thanks.

Just updating everyone from MA. I got an email from MOR-EV office as below:

Thank you for reaching. The MOR-EV Program goes by the purchase price cap of $ 55,000. 2023 Nissan Aria BEV has just been added to the list. However, it’s only on the portal not the website currently.

So Aria is eligible for submission right away for the $3500 rebate.
