MyNissan app and route planner

In March, Ariya owners were told to switch from the NissanConnect app to MyNissan. The route planner wasn't working with MyNssan, so Nissan told us to go back to using NissanConnect, which worked fine. Now, Nissan has disconnected NissanConnect and forced a move to MyNissan. The route planner is still not working on MyNissan. I just spent an hour on the phone with a tech person who read steps in a manual for us to follow to try to resolve the problem. I had done most of these steps before but did them again. Still no route planner. Everything else in the app works except that. Can anyone help because unfortunately Nissan tech services seems to be clueless.

I just tried it and it seemed to be fine. Are you saying the Route Planner does not appear on the app? doesn't open? doesn't send to the car? What specifically is the problem?
The route planner is there. I can enter a destination, and once that is done, the "create route" button should illuminate. My doesn't and it doesn't respond to my tapping it.
Try entering a date and time.
Yes I noticed you have to enter a date and time
Seems to get stuck in spinning circle
Not really optional (options) as the App says. o_O
Thanks. The date and time did it. Not ideal having to take this extra step when you don't need it. My guess is that the app designers don't have experience driving EVs.
Its just a poor UI design for that feature. Remember, same app for ICE vehicles. Glad it is working for you, but it seems odd their tech support would not be aware of this. I have found user forums are generally a better resource.

The new app is slow to react to any updates especially when your car is charging. If you wanted to check how many miles you have the night before old app immediately. It’s faster now for me to go to my garage turn the car on & look at the dashboard. The app is still spinning on my wi fi. I called Nissan & the dealer not sure what the issue is. Any thoughts?

It's never fast but mine USUALLY works... What often works to fix it when it doesn't work (on Android): Go to the list of apps, select it, and force stop. Then start the app again. I imagine there's a way to kill a misbehaving app on Apple too. Usually that takes care of it.
