Brooklyn, NY! Though my reservation is out in Jersey. I have a Platinum+ reserved, so probably still waiting a while, but heartened to know that deliveries are really happening at long last, and excited to hear some real world experiences while I wait! 101xx

Nah, I just had some bad experiences with salespeople in Brooklyn when I started my new car journey, and REALLY bad experience with Toyota service departments all over the city over the years (I'm currently rocking a 2007 Yaris that I bought new and ran into the ground). When I went out to Jersey to test drive a Leaf, everyone was nicer and the experience was smoother, so when I decided the Ariya was the right car for me, I just put them down as my dealership of choice. But the salesman I talked to about the Leaf said there's no real cost difference since they do taxes and whatnot based on the state you're registering in, not the one you buy it in.

Honestly, Nissan Ariya was never on my radar prior to going to the LA Auto Show ‘21. I had my eyes set on Audi eTron or Genesis GV60. They were a no show at the show. It was dumb luck that I stopped by Nissan and saw the Ariya. I thought it looked great and was within my budget. Here I am, 13 months later…. I was shocked that Nissan did not increase the MSRP after 13 months have gone by. It made my decision much easier to follow through.

Merry Christmas from Olympia, Washington. (Evolve + with light grey interior.) Our purchase strategy is to down size our fleet with the Ariya. We will be trading or selling our 2011 Leaf we purchased new to use as a daily commuter. We will also be selling our 2014 Altima we primarily used as our long range vehicle. Our reservation is 3500x which was initiated April 2 . My parents live in Port Angeles so I go to Sequim often (we live in Seattle.) Excited to learn of another reservationist so close by!
