Nissan and Wallbox

Has anyone tried to find out the details of the rebate? I contacted my local dealer and I contacted Nissan USA and no one knows how much the rebate is. In fact they seem to know nothing at all about the offering. I referenced the announcement on the Nissan USA website and they still claim to know nothing about it. Wallbox says that after you purchase an EV with Nissan they will give you a discount code. Seems fishy to me. First of all, I would like to purchase and install a charger before taking ownership of the EV (Ariya in my case). Second, the sales manager claims to not know about any discount code. Very frustrating...

Online it says Nissan will offer discount starting July 2022,(Not True) Wallbox sells for $649 and 30% tax credit. I dont see much of a discount when they do offer it???? If you go on Amazon you can get Mustart Level 2 Charger for $319 it comes with 25ft cord. This is what I installed instead of waiting so once I get car ready to go. I know Ariya does come with 240 power cord on upper models so now I will have a backup cord or I can travel with one if needed. Anyway my opinion is going with Mustart from Amazon will still be cheaper plus extra power cord and you will be ready to roll.If 30% tax credit is true it will also work on Amazon (print Receipt) This method just eliminates another headache. 25ft power cord is nice because I can use in my garage or driveway. Good Luck hope this helps and should save you money.

This appears to be the web page, it has the install through a company called Coil.

I just saw that Coil is part of Wallbox.
Use your reservation number at checkout. The discount is $150. You’re still responsible for the installation.
That still puts it at $500, still cheaper to go on Amazon with Mustart $319 .Use money saved for installation.

Wallbox and similar products have "smart" apps to monitor and keep energy logs and charge logs, etc, and safety regulatory certifications. Seems you can also select charge rate, schedule time, and user profiles if multiple users. Interestingly it also can be locked by the app, if you have it accessible but want to lock it out. These features might not be needed, but could be useful as one learns how to use them.

Our local power company is giving another 250, so I am getting it for 250+ tax on 500
I just picked up the Chargepoint Home Flex. $749 and my utility had a $500 rebate- so getting it for $249.
