Nissan has released a new crash test video for the Ariya. Along with the front, side and rear impact collisions they also show how the car reacts to accidents involving pedestrians.
With hundreds of impact testing and scrutiny of over 100 data points, the Nissan Ariya is put to the test at 1/1000th-of-a-second to help ensure it possesses a high level of safety in the event of a collision. Serving as the basis for developing safer automobiles, Nissan’s Safety Shield concept includes active and passive safety measures to support the safety of vehicle occupants in a variety of scenarios. The overall goal is to prevent collisions where possible and, in case of unavoidable collisions, mitigate damage and injuries.
