Online it says Nissan delivers cars from Japan to Los Angeles, San Francisco and New Jersey. I cannot find accurate timeframe for Nissan Shipload to arrive here.

If they notify us when car is being assembled we should have a better guess on arrival since FALL is coming quick.

Take a look at 北米・カナダ 本船スケジュール which is the Nissan Motor Car Carrier schedule. It lists ports and expected arrival time of their vessels. Also see Free AIS Ship Tracker - VesselFinder where you can enter the name of the ship ( like "Comet Ace") and see what port the ship is heading to. Once the get close to land (North America) you get real time tracking from land based sensors. The Comet Ace was supposed to be in Vancouver, BC, CA on 11/2/22. However it is now just at the mouth of the Salish Sea (water body between US and Canada on the west coat.) and vesslefinder reports new ETA of 11/4/22. Ships at sea get there when the weather and other ship traffic allow.

So, it looks like they've updated the dates on these vessels. Vessel arrivals started yesterday?

That is correct. the Luna Spirit vessel arrived in Tacoma, WA on November 10th at 11:05 pm and departed 14 hours and 31 minutes later. She is on her way to the port of Los Angles and expected to arrive Nov 14th at 1:00 pm. The next vessel in the rotation is the Andromeda Spirit which is currently moving toward Annacis Island (Vancouver, BC) due to arrive on November 15th. The latest published schedule is dated 11/11/22. Now, having said all that, it is in now way to imply the Ariya vehicles are on either of those ships. What the big unknown is just what the cargo manifest may be. Nissan make a wide range of internal combustion vehicles sold in North America.

If you want some more shipping fun/stress/time-waste, go here:

and search for the ships you want. It looks like manifests are only posted once the cargo is unloaded.

I've been looking at the East Coast deliveries and it looks like Nissans are only unloaded in New Jersey -- other ports get other types of vehicles delivered (a lot of construction equipment and used vehicles). Each manifest has a number of Bill-of-Lading line items. There is no indication what these are -- just number of units and total weight for each line item. I'm guessing that these line items reflect either a particular model of vehicle or a group of vehicles intended for each dealer. I'm speculating (based on nothing!) that it's the former (reflect vehicle models). Now, how to speculate further? Divide the total weight by number of units to get average weight and then go crazy trying to match that figure with known info about the curb weights of different Nissan vehicles.

For example, Progress Ace unloaded two separate lots (12 and 19 units) on 10-27 -- average weight 1500kg. Genuine Ace unloaded one lot with that same weight (6 units) on 11-10. What models could these be? They are in the general ballpark of published weights for Sentra, Altima, and Rogue.

Googling the curb weight on the Ariya shows values of roughly 1900kg to 2000+kg. I have no idea how valid those values are and know that battery type, optional equipment will make a difference. That said, I don't see any average weights in that range in the two recent ship unladings. I see values ranging from 1500kg to 1703kg and then a jump to some at 2680kg -- presumably those big ones are pickups (Titans?). Again all speculation but, so far, I'm not smelling any Ariyas!

Thanks a lot for this info Smeds! This is great stuff. Just the kind of info I was looking for. Well done!

Yes, entertaining. Thanks for that.

Looks like the Titan is made in Canton, MS. However, the Armada is made in Japan and has about the right curb weight.

The curb weight of the 87 kWh Ariya is 2089 Kg.

Gerat information Smeds. What about Brunswick GA? This is from my google search.

No idea — looks like that was an announcement of a new arrangement. I’m going by the list of deliveries by Nissan Motor Car Carrier ships that is posted earlier in this thread. Next up for the East Coast is Wisteria Ace.
Assuming that the 87kWh battery versions of the Ariya weigh ~2000kg or slightly more and assuming that the bill-of-lading (BOL) line items below each reflect one model of vehicle, here are the latest vehicle shipments to the US that are roughly in that range. There are a lot more BOL items that have been delivered but they are either much lighter or much heavier and I'm not showing those.

I've not seen any East Coast items (looked at last few shipments) in the 2000kg range.

The 166 vehicles unloaded in LA on Nov. 11 could be Ariya's but possible some other model?
I've not searched the web for info for all of Nissan vehicle weights (I'm obsessed but not that obsessed...) so I can't rule out that these are some ICE model.

Was just looking to see what else might be in that same weight range. The Pathfinder and Frontier are, but are made in Smyrna, TN and Canton, MS respectively.
Nothing else seems to be in the right weight range, so perhaps lowest-trim Ariya models, or Ariya demo cars, for the LA ones?

Hi! Happy New Year! Could you help me finding the schedule list to Europe and Spain ports? I've tried without success. Thank you in advance.
