Was this the reservation support line, or a different contact within Nissan?
My dealer has NO visibility in her system as of last week that shows anything allocated thus far from Nissan. This is at Tustin Nissan in Orange County, CA

I was told me she has 80 units that she needs to quickly process bill of sale once the cars arrive.
I know a Nissan car carrier is approaching the port of Tacoma, WA. It is due to arrive on the 9th. Once docked I can check the manifest but will have no visibility into which model car may be in the vessel. Maybe someone in the Seattle area can put eyes on the unloading in Tacoma.

With Tustin Nissan Orange County Ca. having 80 Reservations I would think that is top dealer in U.S and THEY WOULD have contact info: that is disappointing they must be tired of phone call updates frpm customers.Once again it is not Dealers fault it is NISSAN Communication. My dealer has been polite but also no info:
I haven't bothered to call mine. They've been really good about contacting me in the past when there was a known reason to (such as the contract and the headset), so trust they will continue with that. Mine is their only Ariya reservation.
Good updates and sounds similar to what I heard yesterday. Christie at the Nissan reservation support line was careful to say they expect FWD deliveries to start before the end of the year.
It'll be just my luck if my Ariya shows up while I'm in Japan next month for Tokyo Auto Salon. Me and my family were hoping for a merry electrified Christmas but I stopped holding out hope a while back lol.

Here is the contact info for the Nissan Communications team. Feel free to flood them with email questions. They won't respond because they're terrible at communications but it makes me feel good to annoy them.
Nissan car carrier "Jupiter Spirit" now docked in Tacoma. Can someone on the Forum in the Seattle area visit the port and see what cars are being unloaded? Please!

Without a TWIC security card no one is getting close enough to see anything get unloaded. If there is anyone who knows a longshoreman or other dock worker in Tacoma they might know what gets unloaded.

My good friend is the GM of a local Nissan dealership. He told me they are supposed to be getting their demo Ariya unit any time now. Explicit directions they can not sell It. No word on inventory yet.

All updates I’ve read suggest that the first wave of Ariya’s will be routed to the dealerships to be used specifically as their demos. That said it’s looking more and more like Ariya’s intended for reservationists will be delayed until January/February.

I would think if dealers receive Demos this week Dec 12-18 you would think some Reservation orders would be included. If no info this week it doesnt look good?:cry: for this year. All we need is 1 person to say they are starting to arrive. Every time i get gas I blame Nissan Delay costing me.
Since the ship manifests don't identify the delivered vehicles by type this is all open to interpretation but if the Ariyas are in the 2000kg range and if the weights here reflect actual vehicle weight, here are the list of deliveries to the US east and west coast in that weight range since about mid October. Not a lot of deliveries in that range and not clear that any of these could be Ariyas. The Venus Spirit just delivered cargo to the west coast but it did not deliver any Nissans. The next ship due on the west coast (12-15 to 12-20) is Clover Ace. On the east coast, Swallow Ace has landed in Baltimore but did not unload any Nissans. It is due in other east coast ports this week. Overall, probably not promising other than maybe some of these being dealer demos.

I did call that reservation #. He wasn't specific but mentioned that the car should be arriving by month end. I asked him if I could upgrade my wheels to the other style as a build to order before arriving at the dealership. The other wheel style is available to only AWD (which I believe is 20" vs our 19" hub caps). He has no info other than ask me to work with the dealer's parts dept. I would like to take ownership by year end so I can write off the first year of depreciation as an expense. This is the only reason why I'm impatient. Otherwise, I would not care if it arrives anytime in 2023.

Expect FWD deliveries to be limited as Dealer demos only. Thereafter the dealers will contact their reservationists to confirm their specific configuration. Therefore the actual Ariya earmarked for reservationist will follow 6-8 weeks later (late January -February)

Per the reservation support number, no additional steps after initial reservation are necessary. A vehicle matching the configuration you put together online will be shipped to your preferred dealer. You will be contacted when it arrives. You will have the opportunity to drive it and decide if you want to purchase it. There is no confirmation of configuration with the dealer on this launch.
