I also received my call from Nissan today, I asked how many FWD were ordered in USA, (not sure). She said ther ARE being built right now. She also stated multiple people she called said Dealers are saying October. She said will definately be this year. I do not think Dealers who are saying October are correct. I would guess Mid NOV-DEC. But good thing is it should be soon, I would also feel better seeing Nissan Ariya Ads on TV. Feeling Positive Fingers crossed any other info please post.

I just chatted online with a Nissan Ariya presale agent. After I told him my reservation number(12678) he informed me that I would receive my Ariya by the end of the year. I am getting the Venture+ FWD.

Also got a call. One interesting thing is that the Empower trim is almost exactly the premier trip minus the special hub caps and lighted door logo but $1k less. It also comes in more color except for the copper. While we can’t change our reservation to this trim, the agent said we can apply our $1,200 reservation discount to any trim and the dealer would just have to order outside the reservation process. I’ll contact my dealer. My concern is the dealer won’t feel obligated to offer MSRP if I order outside my reservation.

I just got a call from Nissan myself today and the rep said I could expect my Premier "before the end of the year". Not much other info apart from that - she just made sure I knew of the "reservationist offer" and confirmed I signed the purchase letter Nissan had sent before the new tax credits took effect.

Still a very vague timeframe - I just hope it's before Christmas so it can by a nice holiday gift to myself and so that my family can see it when they come visit.

I was thinking about this too, since I prefer another color interior. You would have to get it all in writing, but they would get a new premiere they could still at market price

I also chatted with a Nissan Rep. this morning regarding my reservation/order. I agree that the representatives who are reaching out to contact all the Ariya reservation holders are likely just reading off of a script. Seems the common theme is they have been given instructions to confirm that Nissan once again is acknowleding that we signed the tax credit loophole document prior to 8/16/22 and they are to share the approximate delivery date when our Ariya will arrive. To that end I asked what I believed would be a straight forward question. However that inquiry soon became a moving target the longer we discussed the matter. Specifically I asked if it would be possible to change my reservation to one of the trims listed on the recently updated Ariya website. The agents initial response was that it would be no problem. She instructed me to just log into my portal and make the desired changes. However once I told her that I already tried that and the portal still doesn’t list the new configurations - she immediately switched gears and said well ……maybe I would have to cancel my reservation. However if I did cancel my reservation I would lose out on the $1240 private offer and likely kiss goodby the tax credit advantage as well. So after that conversation I immediately contacted my dealer and they immediately forwarded my email on to a Nissan Ariya Rep. who fielded my inquiry. The following is verbatim of one of the so called Ariya Reps response:
”Reservations can be edited through the Reservationist‘s dashboard online once the customer logs in but only to the original 4 reservation trims(unfortunately the system is unable to include the new models) Orders must be changed online through this dashboard and Dealers can not change on the customers behalf.
If the customer wanted to order a non-reservation trim they could do so but the dealer will have to secure it through normal ordering after Reservation allocation. “

So my dealer has pledged to continue to work with their other dealer representatives
and hopes to have a more feasible approach for me later this week.

Nissan is on a roll with the calls. I received mine this morning. Seems like we are in agreement on what was mentioned already. I also asked her about the reservation numbers since mine is 30xxx and later than most others on here. She said the number doesn't matter regarding time frame of when I will receive mine. That was good news for me! The other question I had was regarding changing my dealer since the sales manager is not responsive to my calls or emails. She said that could potentially cause a delay so I'm staying put. She also gave me the number if I have further questions regarding my reservation. 800-335 -1428 . I think I would be a little more anxious without this forum. Thanks for asking the questions that are in my head. We are almost there!

The rep that called me today made it clear that deliveries would begin by the end of the year. When I inquired further, she just said she didn't have any more details and couldn't provide any firm dates. All the other info was stuff I had already gleaned from this forum. This was clearly just a scripted call to "officially" provide this info to reservation holders.

What State are you in. I need Ariya now gas in Calif soon to be $7+ Opec is voting to drop another 1-2 million barrels from supply tomorrow. But it is good your dealer contacted you, has anyone else been Contacted? I hope so, the sooner the better we have seemed to turn the page. Even though phone calls were scripted they would not have made them unless they are now in Full Speed Mode . I also think that dealers do not have any supplies to do ADD ONS we dont want due to supply shortage .

Yeah I got my call the other day. They informed me of the “discount” they are offering resevation holders. $1270 off current MSRP, not including the $500 deposit. I was specific to ask that. Only info she could give me is that delivery will definitely begin by the end of the year but she couldn’t give me any information on exactly when I would get my Ariya. As for the commercials, I won’t lie, I get excited every time I see an Ariya. It also gave me an opportunity to be a total nerd when some asked “what is that car? I’ve never seen that one.”

I wonder how many other dealers are going to offer something similar.

I've received similar information about changing paint color to Northern Lights Metallic for my Evolve+ trim. This color is available from the brochure for my trim but not online, and I was told I could only change to what available with my portal account - Seems like they want to limit changes since it's so close to production.
