While you are waiting for your ordered ARIYA I got this error after 5 months of using my Nissan ARIYA
Automotive design Car Personal luxury car Font Auto part

The manual says:
"electric vehicle system off evacuate to safe area outside car warning. This warning appears if the Li-ion battery is malfunctioning and a danger of the Li-ion battery thermal runaway is detected when the vehicle is stopped.
Leave the vehicle and contact a NISSAN certified electric vehicle dealership."

Wrote to the NISSAN ESPANA service center, we'll see what the answer is! I am from Spain.

Also previously I had the first problem is that the HUD display does not turn on correctly if 2 keys are used in the car, then the HUD turned off and did not work. That time the NISSAN service center replaced the HUD display.

Yikes, and sorry to hear that! Hopefully this is an uncommon occurrence. (Nice that it had the sensors to notice this at least.) Can you keep us updated on how the repair goes?
Yes, of course. I'll write when I know something. I had this breakdown this Saturday. I wrote to Nissan, but the service centers are not open on weekends in Spain. I am waiting for Monday and a response to my letter.

This would be upsetting. We once had an alarming message with our 2019 Leaf, that the EV system had a problem (don't recall that said to evacuate though), but it turned out that it was just the 12V battery had some issue and it was an easy replacement. Hope it gets resolved quick.

I was at the Nissan dealership today when my two-week old Ariya stopped while I was backing out and said "EV system Off" It didn't say to evacuate though. I was unable to get the EV ststem back "on." The bright spot was that I was already at the delareship. Of course, the vehicle and EV technology is still so new, no one really knows anything about it. I'm eagerly waiting to hear what the issue is.

It's been a month since my car was repaired. The service is still waiting for an answer from Nissan on how to repair the car. And it looks like the decision will not be soon.🥺

Hello everyone
I share my happy news, after 38 days of repairing my Aria in the SC, the car was finally repaired!
And then I had to write angry letters to the head office of Nissan Europe.
As the service said, the error was software, and the service was waiting for a software update all this time. Today it was finally updated and everything worked.
I've already taken the car!
Everything seems to be normal.
But since I'm a meticulous owner.
Before taking the car, I took a picture of all the firmware versions that the car shows.
Now I decided to compare, and... "oh, a miracle.". there were no changes in the firmware versions.
Here I collected it in a tablet .
Now I'm sitting, wondering.. what were they stitching there? 🤷🏻‍♂️

So very glad things are back to normal, but it does make you wonder what it was they actually did to "fix" things? Hmmm...

Maybe they just wiped it clean and replaced with original. Which would mean the software spontaneously corrupted (not likely). Really would be disturbing if they are revising software without upversioning.

I don't think they erased the errors in the control unit for 38 days of repair. The service engineer has repeatedly told me that he was contacted from the head office and asked to do certain procedures, and they could not do anything until today. He said that the firmware had been updated.

With no obvious change in firmware version #s. I think they owe you a better explanation.

After 2 months of operation without any problems, my ARIYA Premier failed to start. The displays were essentially dead, the headlights were out, but the doors could locked and unlocked. After attaching a charging device under the hood, and pressing the "start" button, the message "EV System Off" then "malfunction" appeared. Nissan Roadside Assistance - a name that is more wish than reality - did not know what to do. called AAA and they sent to technicians who were able to put the car in neutral, push it out of my garage, and tow it to the dealer last night. Waiting to hear from the dealer's service department now

Welcome to the forum @Kumachan. Sorry to hear about your Ariya. Please keep us posted with what your dealer says. When the technicians were there to tow your Ariya did they say anything about what it could be?

Not a word. I received a call this morning from the service manager at the dealership, who said that the Ariya had been safely delivered by AAA and his staff would begin to analyze the problem.
