What Did I Do..😢
On top of all these complaints:
The Ride Quality.
The Sound System.
The Ghosting & Dark Camera-Mirror.
Inability To Set A Maximum Charge Limit.
The Steering Wheel Does Not Tilt Down Far Enough.
The Uneven Center Armrest/Door Armrest.. (Really Nissan?)
No Comprehensive Charging Information In The Vehicle's Software.

Lets Add:
A Seat Cushion Thats Not Wide Enough.
A So Called Automatic Parking Brake Thats Only Automatic Ocasionally.
And Now.. A 12v Battery Thats Seem To Need A Charge From The H.V.B. Constantly.. and reads 11.7v's or LOWER at rest! 😞

What's Next?
The only saving grace is the DC to DC Converter is functional.. with the 12v battery reading 14.4v when the unit is powered on.

Bad Battery? It's brand new.. are they not checked? Now I have to waste time taking a 3 week old unit back to the garage so they can see what's up.
I traded in a FULLY FUNCTIONAL 2021 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited AWD for this...

O.M.G... What Did I Do. 😂

The ride quality is insanely better than the rav4 hybrid. I owned a 2019. I can compare the ride quality to the ‘22 Lexus NX 350h that i sold to get the Ariya. (Edit: it’s subjective though)

That Lexus had a bad 12v that had to be swapped after 5 months. It was probably weakened by the long trip from Japan like the Ariya. It’s covered under warranty so if it dies, just tow it to the dealer so they can swap it.

I think if the main battery is less than 30%, the main battery does not change the 12V battery. It is the same on my other EV as well.

IS MORE WHERE THIS IS HEADED..

My H.V.B. was at 100%
It read: 10.78v this morning before 1st crank.
To Say I'm NOT Impressed With Nissan is an UNDERSTATEMENT.

That's ok.. there are enough EV's in the pipeline that moving on from this one Will Not be an issue.
It will have less than 2K on it come fall... I should have no issue pushing it off on someone else.. and it is a Limited Run Premiere Edition.. in a year where only 6,000 2023 units (Max) are allocated for U.S. sales.. I imagine only 1,000 or so are Premiere's.. so in that respect I can command what I put into it easily..👍 In the coming years it will be somewhat of a Collectors Edition..

By the way, how’re you seeing the stats on your 12v? Am i missing a menu where it’s at?

Anyone other than me who has problems with the 12v battery discharging when driving shorter distances, which I have noticed brings with it some unpleasant events such as the frozen center screen, the liftback of the tailgate, the auto function of the steering wheel and the lumbar support is pumped out to the max for no reason? I have avoided using the heat pump but apparently it doesn't help🥵. Spoke to my dealer and they said it was a problem with several lev.cars and should be notified to Nissan who will pass it on to the factory🙈

Have your dealership (or somewhere else) test the 12V under the hood. A handful of people appear to have gotten cars with 12V batteries that are either defective or abused before delivery and need to be replaced.

Hello 🖐
Are you running any Dash Cams?
Do you have a Battery Monitor installed to see exactly how much loss per trip you are dealing with?
I have a thread detailing what I've experienced concerning my 12v battery.. Only Read If You Have 12v Battery Issues.. | Nissan Ariya Forum (ariyaforums.com)
all is well for me now (some "self-correction" / devine intervention took place) but I had some SERIOUS dips for a while. The first thing I did was, install a seperate unit to run my front/rear dash cams to remove any load. To feel more secure when driving the nissan ( I know I was scared to turn it off when I was away from home in fear it would not be able to start again..) Just have the dealer replace your battery.. if they say it checks out ok.. Just go buy a Diehard.. Done.

You should be able to use your heat pump, air con, radio etc anytime you choose to.. it's a 45K+ vehicle.
