Great choice! Same as my Evolve+. Love the look.
Awaiting a premiere ocean blue AWD..... perhaps May or June in the Okanagan. Some questions are unique to Canada....eg. will pro pilot 2 be installed and functional here?? Wheel size on premiere?

Hi. Does propilot work on Vancouver freeways? I hear it needs special 3d mapping for full function.
Cruise control works, "auto pilot" in the sense of keeping you in the center of your lane works sometimes, and pretty badly at that.

I've been told for full auto pilot of "get me from point A to point B" won't come to our Canadian models, as we don't have the 5g infrastructure to process enough data for the car to actually calculate. We also don't have any of the hardware either, so even if in 3 years we get a bazillion 5g towers, we still won't be able to use it.

Hmm. Sounds like 2,000$ worth of technology that won't function in Canada 😜. Thanks for the info.

ProPilot 1/1.5 or 2.0 in your Rogue, @dee?
I'm kinda ignorant. Have no clue but I have 2021 platinum rogue ...

That would be ProPilot 1/1.5 then, I believe. So then we still don’t know if ProPilot 2 works effectively in Canada.
I'd also be curious if ProPilot 2.0 works driving across the border into Canada from the US. Someone previously posted this link to all of the ProPilot 2.0 roads (ProPILOT Assist 2.0 Compatible Roads | Nissan USA) but it only shows US roads.

  • Is ProPilot 2.0 available in Canada?
  • (if yes) Are these roads loaded in the US versions of the Ariya?

My sales told me it will be ProPilot 1.5 because of the 5G network..

I am still waiting for my sales to call me and tell me that my car is being built.
Pre-ordered it last May...hopefully will be getting that phone call soon...

I wonder if Nissan uses a different company for the road mapping. It looks like it can be done without 5G... GMC shows Canadian roads on their "Super Cruise" feature. Super Cruise: Hands-Free Driver Assistance | GMC Canada (Scroll down to the map)
