Was wondering if anyone else is browsing parts.nissanusa.com

They have the love your nissan event

Prices show the 20% off, but when you go to checkout, it jumps back up to regular price... anyone else have this issue?

I just tried at another Nissan dealer, it does not change, and Riverside Nissan price is lower but it depends on shipping.

Ok, I got it to work, I chose an out of state dealer other than my local dealer and it worked now... weird that the price even went lower

However, the Nissan (dealership) service labor rate is ridiculously high. (I was quoted $610 labor alone for the ext. ground lighting kit; Part Number: T99F4-5MP1A).

Does anyone have a recommendation on 3rd party shops with good track records for installing Nissan accessories? I'm sure it will vary with region, but may help to narrow down my search.

Do you know what it's crazy, my dealer quoted $800 for the install...

Hopefully I get my kit soon, I can't imagine this being more than 2 hours to install

I found a dealership 2 hrs from me that'll install it for $495, no tax. I think i'll play.
Protip: I ordered the part from an Albuquerque dealership for $396.01. Free shipping and no tax, FTW!

I did an overview of whats required for this install if I was to put my estimating hat on again. Depending on labor rate per hour in your region, most shops are likely going to estimate a minimum of 4 hours to install…….or if you’re handy you should plan on spending 6 hours or more if you decided to take it on yourself.

One other thought,: if you have a Car Toys franchise nearby you might consider getting a labor quote from them.

Hmmm. The closest Car Toys is 3 hrs north of me in the DFW area. I'll check 'em out as I'm up there for biz quite often.
